And if you’re correct then the majority will vote for change…. however that likely isn’t happening aye
Problem is people don't vote based on which economic ideology is good for them long term, or overall most fair, or best for the well being of the country. The right leaning folk with money are well aware of this and take full advantage

Poll at 6 for a clearer indication of where things are currently. Long time until election though
Yeah old Trump has certainly thrown a cat amongst the pigeons economically. Unfortunately that economic recovery that was underway is reversing at least for the time being. But it will still be centre right or left running the country, most interesting thing will be whether Winston can negotiate his way into the PM role.

That’s certainly what Winston will be angling for and his willingness for American politics currently makes me hopeful he doesn’t achieve it

Winston's too far cooker imo. He's aligned fully with Trump, hopefully he's too toxic to consider now

Dud cyclone - all the warnings and everything shut up and closed down for nothing. State of emergencies declared before the storm just in case…

Last nights flash flooding, no warning, worse damage, significant flooding housing and infrastructure more damaged -an actual state of emergencies due to emergencies!

…and this is why we just need to be resilient and not rely on nanny state protecting us. Nature doesn’t play by a nice neat set of rules.

Nope.
And yet your right wing economic ideology you believe in is an utter failure for all but the very rich
What’s my right wing ideology? It’s simply personal responsibility and the sum of many individuals making decisions being better than the state ever can.

I’ve had a bit to do with hospitals lately and they send you home as early as possible because your outcomes are better at home than staying longer. Fact.

So even the state run hospital system realised individuals making independent decisions has better outcomes than the state trying to do it for them.

This post and your last one are textbook.

I think Luxon will be rolled soon and Bishop gave me the impression this morning on q and a that he’ll be the one. Tame even joked that he sounded like he wanted to be leader as much as obviously he didn’t want to sound as though he was interested of course. I think it’ll be Bishop against McAnulty potentially by the coming election

Stanford would be a better candidate, she's done good things in Education.

She has the Jacinda image and likability that Luxon struggles with.

Jacinda has shown it’s about communication and selling a vision rather than policy, so Bishop would be more of the same as Luxon.

Not sure if it’s that it’s viewed of her not being competent but her sitting at 1% with the likes of Willis and how many seem to view Willis seems like Stanford wouldn’t really be on their radar? Bishop only with 1% more at 2% though of preferred pm. Underwhelming figures for all with Hipkins preferred pm at 19%, Luxon at 16% and Winston at 12%

It’s better for my mental health to avoid the site after loss…. some of the debates I got into, and banned for, would make Wiz look like a card carrying member of the Communist Party.

Works starting to pick up with more enquiry and a few small projects. People concerned about what the US-Iran War may do to material prices…. not that the Orange haired one would care how he stuffs up the rest of the world.
We may disagree on politics but you were always a good person Mike. Hope you're looking after yourself mate..
