Politics πŸ—³οΈ NZ Politics

Again, your naivety astounds me. Influence is in everything and everyone. It's only the depth that varies.

Aren't you tradie? Never tried to influence any work or done homers for mates or traded off for a box of beer?
Taxpayers pay our representatives a healthy salary to represent them, not just who can give them the what they desire most. I can recall a time when Ashley Bloomfield was given tickets to a match that was deemed bad form to accept by some years ago, in fact many don’t seem to hold the same opinions they did then as they do now. The people that call out other posters for their posting on politics were about the worst before grizzling constantly about worst government ever, little did they know that NZ’s worst government was just being put into power

Big problem in certain areas. Old school trick given to me was never graze the paddocks low in late summer.
It was a real puzzle to them why it was happening and recall they almost didn’t come to my wedding because of it happening at the time and flew there and back directly after the service. I can’t recall their view of cause in the end but a particular seed rings a bell? Microplasmabovis came along a bit after though didn’t effect them, horrific though

It's a fungal spore (can't remember the name) which thrives in warm moist conditions in the ground layer of pastures. Hence don't graze too low. We do regular spore counts but a few kilos of zinc is good prevention as there is no cure once infected. No damage so far here but the spore count is up there with this weather.

Fuel restrictions. I booked a flight to Wellington on Tuesday for work.

I was joking about that, and a colleague came up and said you're wasting precious fuel.

Better change my parking booking to the hybrid. A lot nicer to drive than our other car, which is only a mild hybrid.

I’m thinking of selling my EV. Double what I paid for it, but it’s a bargain, given the times we now live in!

In hindsight it’s insane to only have 3 months supply of fuel in stock, with half it stored overseas!
