Must be pretty confronting for him trying to reconcile why.

RNZ-Reid Research poll: Labour extends lead over National
The RNZ-Reid Research poll makes grim reading for the Prime Minister , who has recorded his lowest personal approval rating yet.www.rnz.co.nz
Haha, couple of hundy people there, incumbents and visitors. Generally a good band, plenty of Ganja and Acid. What happens at a Bert Potter party Rick, dare I ask
Everyone knew he was a pedo but nobody did anything about it? Guess things were different in the 70s, the era of Garry Glitter, Jimmy Savillle, Alan Jones, guys like that.Haha, couple of hundy people there, incumbents and visitors. Generally a good band, plenty of Ganja and Acid.
Bert was dodgy, everyone knew it and was no surprise when he was finally arrested. Disappointing that a number of people there who also had children at Centrepoint were well aware of it but continued to stay.
Mrs Rick always reckoned he was a Sociopath. As usual, she was probably right
Probably more fair to say those in the close circles knewEveryone knew he was a pedo but nobody did anything about it? Guess things were different in the 70s, the era of Garry Glitter, Jimmy Savillle, Alan Jones, guys like that.
Not sure we're any further ahead now, the only one in jail for the Epstein files is the madam, all her best customers are running the world.Probably more fair to say those in the close circles knew
Have to remember that social media in those days consisted of the personal columns in the Truth. Not much else other than Chinese whispers.
Which post? Outline the parts you're concerned aboutGenuinely concerned mate, that post was getting close to unhinged. Even for a professional Righbeater like yourself.
Go back and have a look yourself. I'm not going to debate it word for word. The whole post seethes.Which post? Outline the parts you're concerned about
Bit of context needed here again Wiz.Hipkins let slip about Labourβs Covid spending on Newstalk ZB admitting the Labour Government would have gone ahead with many of its spending decisions even without the cover of the pandemic.
The Covid Royal Commission found about half of the $60 billion spent in the name of the pandemic went on unrelated programmes and projects.
Both the Royal Commission and Treasury say that spending pushed up the cost of living and government debt.
In other words, the pandemic became a convenient excuse to spend money on things Labour wanted to do anyway.
This meant that National inherited a permanent structural deficit, and increasing debt and a 1 in 30 year recession. This is not news to those that follow economics.
Now as we face a potential oil crisis due to the Iran conflict, the Government has less ability to cushion us from this global shock, because of what Hipkins did.
They promised in 2017 to keep spending below 30% of GDP. Both Labour and Greens said they would cap it at 30%.
They used the excuse of Covid-19 to load an additional $30 billion of non-covid expenditure and blew spending up to 34% of GDP.
This structurally locked in the recession, economic carnage and has left us vulnerable to future shocks and with less options to respond to the oil crisis today.
And what did we get for the $30b in pet projects thatβs crippled us the last few years and leaves us hamstrung now???
10 new hospitals? Auckland Harbour tunnels? 1000 new schools? Buggered if I know?
Can our far lefty lovers explain where the money went that has stuffed NZ up big time?
Nah mate, if you're going to call out a post it's not on me.Go back and have a look yourself. I'm not going to debate it word for word. The whole post seethes.
Read it carefully and have a look in the mirror, unless you were just expressing an opinion.
Except he didn't ask why we would be investing anything at all for a small market that is declining.Good journalism

Slow chargers underpin Govt's slow-track investment in public EV chargers
Analysis: The investment in AC slow chargers that start under $5k to build, rather than $100k-plus DC fast chargers, could be telling if the Govt's under pressure to meet its 10,000 target, writes David Williams.newsroom.co.nz
Except for one tiny... will actually not so tiny problem. He says the previous Labour government allocated money for new chargers. There was never any announcement as to how much of the LETF was to be used for public chargers let alone if they would be AC or DC chargers.Good journalism
