Economic forum: Property prices in Dubai have dropped 20% with the possibility of significantly more falls with a prolonged Middle East crisis.

Dubai has nearly emptied with capital flooding out to economic safe havens.

Commentator on an economic forum: I think this could easy see 3m properties in nz move to 5m so people can move here. I could be wrong but realistically with the nzd so weak it’s not unreasonable to consider this.

If someone wants to pay me $5 mil for my house, I'm open to offers ;)

Why isn't this government showing the leadership needed for the whole country around our petrol supplies?

Stations are already running dry, and it's not going to get better.

From the current coalition? Nothing.

Chris Hipkins has admitted the Labour Government would have gone ahead with many of its spending decisions even without the cover of the pandemic - that’s $30b of wasted spending

Both the Royal Commission and Treasury say that spending pushed up the cost of living and government debt.

And if Labour, the Greens, and Te Pāti Māori get another chance, they’ll do it again: borrow more, spend more, tax more.

Just repeating National campaign slogans is a bit weird mate

Last week 1 news called for Luxon to resign over a poll result. Later in the week they played a Hipkins PR spin on Labour’s shocking handling of Covid. Where was the call to resign?

This follows MPs having to ask questions about balance when 1 news did a crime hitjob on the day positive stats came out.

If the media is clearly biased, someone’s got to spread the message.

To be honest, the same could be said of anyone putting an idea on this forum.... calling for less immigration is straight out of Winnies playbook, calling for a wealth tax is Chloe's answer to every second question, calling for less regulation is an ACT slogan, anyone questioning the place or the interpretation of the Treaty is racist according to TPM, etc. etc.

Yeah, @wizard of Tauranga repeatedly does it.... but so do lots of others here too.

Absolutely Miket12
I have decided that I don't actually want Wiz as our Tauranga MP. He is much better equipped for a reporting job in the media.

At least come up with something yourself instead of parroting literal campaign slogans. Quite jarring tbh

There's a difference in agreeing with politicians and literally copy pasting campaign slogans hence my comment.
