Ahhhh, your talking about the bill that would ban voting by people serving sentences in prison, regardless of sentence length.Voter suppression to benefit the right indeed. Copying the same tactics seen overseas.

Whatβs with the constant left/right rhetoric? You seem to proudly display your right wing reference wherever possible, is there no interest in being in the centre anymore?Ahhhh, your talking about the bill that would ban voting by people serving sentences in prison, regardless of sentence length.
Big call to label all criminals as lefties, but I guess it makes sense![]()
Just joking with the poster who says reasonable electoral law changes are a big conspiracy theory left/ right issueWhatβs with the constant left/right rhetoric? You seem to proudly display your right wing reference wherever possible, is there no interest in being in the centre anymore?
Need to make them all work together. Between a right and a left block it should make centre achievableJust joking with the poster who says reasonable electoral law changes are a big conspiracy theory left/ right issue![]()
Why would this benefit the right? Are you suggesting that left voters are less intelligent?Voter suppression to benefit the right indeed. Copying the same tactics seen overseas.

With regard to voting they obviously don't know what day it is.Why would this benefit the right? Are you suggesting that left voters are less intelligent?
What's the urgency to constrain voting like this when it's never been a problem in the past? This is following the same tactics employed in America. With regard to voting they obviously don't know what day it is.
Do you know the history of prisoner voting in NZ?What's the urgency to constrain voting like this when it's never been a problem in the past?
Labour set the platform weβre now living![]()
The previous government left NZ with USD90b of debt - after covid - and the current clowns have increased that by 23% whilst shrinking GDP a little over 1% in the same period.
The current coalition needs to own this and stop blaming anyone else, as it is clearly their fault.
Now now, your true colours are coming through again. Do your best to control them.Inruin finds fact funny. What a stupid cunt.
No, it's funny your ignorance. I don't expect anything less from a dumb old cunt who had to leave the country he fucked up so much. Are you related to Jacinda at all?Inruin finds fact funny. What a stupid cunt.

I think the last paragraph of that article sums it up nicely.Stuff

It was wearing thin more than a couple of months ago to people such as this that I have a lot of time for his view and think he hits the mark with in the article. Thereβs been toing and froing whether labour are Adrian Orr wears the blame and the longer thereβs no thought of their own performance playing apart, the longer I think voters will decide that this isnβt working and not the direction thatβs good for the whole country
That seems to be the conundrum for many with too far one way and now too far the other. There were a few instances in the covid era though that we were hamstrung by our poor medical system and the worry of overwhelming it. Canβt be underestimated how covid has changed the worldI think the last paragraph of that article sums it up nicely.
Registration chugs up the process on voting day. Quick question, do you vote early or wait until polling day? What's the urgency to constrain voting like this when it's never been a problem in the past? This is following the same tactics employed in America.
His report on social cohesion earlier in the year was very good tooStuff

Often find myself agreeing with his point of view. Seems like an impartial voice that calls it as he sees itHis report on social cohesion earlier in the year was very good too
Yup, he gave Labour a touch up in 2020 over their tax policiesOften find myself agreeing with his point of view. Seems like an impartial voice that calls it as he sees it
