I was ctriticised earlier in the week for not supplying a link or like. Only I couldn't for other reasons. But hey I was still on the money100 MIke, if there's no links and articles of journalistic fact inside those opinion pieces.
When someone asks for the "facts" to be proven from their own sourced opinion piece that doesn't actually quote any or link to anything then that's a bit much isn't it?
I glance at them all, mainly to see if they can actually criticise their own side and with the Economists (you know who you are) can count past 10 without taking their boots off.I do read one of those![]()
Pretty sure Inruin could do that too. But that's on them. The data, released today by the Ministry of Education, showed 58% of students were at or above expectations at their 20-week phonics check in Term 3. This is up from 36% in Term 1.
In Term 3, 43% of students were classed as exceeding expectations – more than double the Term 1 rate.

If you go to the Ministry site the data is there.

TBF to Bomber even if he is on the spectrum and a lower form of life, he's not afraid to give it to his own side if he thinks they're giving the enemy an advantage
Numpty, I have posted the link to a news report with that data in.Pretty sure Inruin could do that too. But that's on them.

Despite all the toing and froing, from what you've heard and read do you think there has been an improvement in literacy and numeracy?Pretty sure Inruin could do that too. But that's on them.

To add to the facts, my wife teaches in primary and anecdotally the changes have seen significant improvements. The data, released today by the Ministry of Education, showed 58% of students were at or above expectations at their 20-week phonics check in Term 3. This is up from 36% in Term 1.
