To be honest, I’m not upset about the opinion piece at all. Was just trying to illustrate why it’s an issue, despite most of the opinion piece being benign. In fact, if Vance had refrained from being trashy, she would have had a positive impact

I agree the choice of language created an opportunity for deflection.

Based on what you think of people who don't follow the same lines as you, I'm wondering how you get on with the wife and kids at home when there is a differing opinion. Are they culture war numpties as well?

Can't stand conspiracy, can't stand the repetition of lies and mistruths, definitely can't stand bullying.

We all have filters. I happen to believe we have a far right government increasing wealth transfer upwards and exponentially powering inequality. That's the right, that's neoliberalism.

I believe strongly this is morally, ethically and from a human perspective utterly destructive and wrong.

I believe we're in an age of fascists and an oligarchy looking to destroy western democracy.

So a counterpoint to the right and sometimes hard right circular conversations on here, and from at least one poster quite nasty stuff isn't unreasonable.

What if house prices haven’t risen under this govt?
What if the sharemarket hasn’t risen under this govt? (The above means businesses aren’t making any money).
What if there are record business closures under this govt.

It’s a myth the rich are getting rich under this govt. How’s can the rich get rich when property, shares and businesses are all being smashed?

You think this govt is for the rich, despite every economic indicator pointing to the opposite?

All nasty stuff is unreasonable. I don't agree with a lot of your posts but I do defend your right to post them. When it gets down to the name calling and personal rhetoric then I have a problem.
