Self reflection goes a long way mate.
Iβll share some some critique of the right - most of it already shared on here:
- I believe teachers, nurses and the public health and education should get more funding. They should be the priority.
- Iβm not happy with the economy and the general business environment. Itβs been 5 years of struggle. Businesses are in pain and making tough decision and I donβt see the same cut back on excess from the government or councils
- I share your concerns about the economy and the inability of the middle and lower socioeconomic groups to progress over the last 20 years. I dislike how we used to have 1 income supporting a family and now require 2. We have gone backwards.
- Iβve said while I generally agree with the thrust that weβre all NZers and shouldnβt have race based policies, I think Seymour treaty bill was a huge mistake and didnβt help anyone. We need to all work together with shared goals and ambitions instead of being divided
- Iβve said numerous times Helen Clarkes govt was the best Iβve seen. Economically right and socially left.
- some policies of this govt like not banning smoking I donβt agree with. Like anything thereβs probably only 80% of any party that anyone agrees with.
- I liked Jacinda when she first came in. A fresh face with fresh modern ideas. Post covid I dislike that version of Labour but not necessarily the left ideas overall (eg liking Clarke). I still liked about 20% of their policies last term but they went hard Left the longer they were in and the policy bonfire shows how unpopular they got
- Iβve said I donβt believe in cancel culture on any side and didnβt agree with that US tv guy shut down
- Iβve frequently criticised Trump and agree with perhaps 20% of his policies. Heβs inflammatory, authoritarian, narcissistic and has taken the US back decades in its global relations:
- you try to paint us as far right and ACT voters but Iβve said multiple times Iβm most aligned with NZ first, policy wise which has aspects of left and right and has sided either way in the past. (Anti Peters though)
Much of this Iβve shared on here - weβre all on a political spectrum and everyone has some balance in their views.
However the more we get the constant far left politicking and negativity from you, the more you only hear the opposite to counter it and the middle ground gets lost. Each action gets an equal and opposite reaction!
