Kinda proves my point really.

Unless you're unhappy about being called a stormtrooper, I can change that to puppet if you want.
Which part of what I posted was incorrect?

Do you view labour and National as right?

Do you view the greens as central?

You have used Scandinavian countries as examples but want to ignore their use of their natural resources or when it comes to health that they use a mix of public and private.

Your whole spiel in response was to name call and try and play the victim. A well known and well tried strategy of the left.

You have even admitted not reading what you link to which often is counter to what you are claiming and then accuse others of disinformation.

There isn't really anything else to say.

I posted, oh about two weeks ago on this.

Labour is centre right, National is right leaning further right, greens are left with some centre ground.

And Inruin? You've been enough of a cnut in your time not to be a snowflake this time around.

Do you guys understand neoliberalism?

Do you guys accept that it's underpinned all of New Zealand's policy making for the last 45 years?

Do you guys realise the myths you've made up and supported?

Interesting that the inclusive left are calling others snowflakes 🤣

Anyway, I really wasn't wanting to get in to a back and forth with you. I was merely point out to Wiz why it was futile if him trying to have a rational debate with you. I haven't engaged with you for a long time and for good reason. The fact that I point out your hypocrisy and misinformation and you associate that with being a cnut says it all really.

I'll leave some other points to ponder though. Of course neoliberalism has been part of the past 50 years. Both good things and bad. It also very well may be it's the best option we have. It Certainly seems to be adopted by the majority of stable countries worldwide. Certainly the alternatives that I've seen offered up have a number of flaws and consequences that ultimately would make things worse for the lower end of society. I would also suggest that neoliberalism isn't the only thing that's happened in the last 50 years. The increase of the welfare state, the decline of community, society and our culture, the decline of individual responsibility and accountability, the increase of the victim mentality. I've read your posts pining for what we had 50 years ago. All built off hard work, community, individual responsibility, accountability and using the resources we have. I to wish for that.

Happy Sunday everyone. it's a glorious day in godzone and contrary to some others views, I went outside and the sky isn't falling.

Increase in welfare state - neoliberalism. Decline of community, society and our culture - 100% neoliberalism. Selfish individuals - 100% neoliberalism

Indeed it is a lovely afternoon :)

I don’t know why he stays in NZ if we haven’t had a govt he likes for 50 years! Good case to head off to a non neoliberalism country and live the good life!l where it’s so much better!

My grandad used to live in the past and shout at clouds instead of accepting life had moved on and changed and making the most of it.

This is the best time to be alive ever in Western, capitalist democracies.
