Politics 🗳️ NZ Politics

Asking for an investigation in order to prove innocence isn't the gotcha you are trying to present here.

Its literally asking for independant verification of them not doing anything wrong? Is that not a good thing?
So if Seymour asked the police to vertify that Polkington was innocent that’s ok?

TPM needed to ask for an investigation to see what happened not to prove innocence.

MP’s can advocate for people rights (as Seymour did) but can’t say anything to do with the outcome (as TPM did).

It would be like Luxon asking for an investigation into the navy sinking to prove the captain is innocent - you just don’t do that and he would be crucified… but TMP isn’t…
And suddenly it comes out years later? Non event political hit job 🤷‍♂️

Fake news, @MaybeTop8

That account that you have posted the graph from has misread the data:

The pink line labelled “Landlord Loans” (nice description by the account’s poster) is in fact, new loans to owner-occupiers. See below for the underlying data from RBNZ

New loans to “landlords” tops out at $2.5b, not $6.5b
