21/5 and 77/7 after Sri Lanka put on 290 (should have been more realistically) is cause for concern IMO.
We need the Glenn McGrath mentally.

I think we will struggle in this trophy on this last performance alone, for only mark Chapman to score runs, on a batting deck that was easy to bat on.

With each SA franchise being owned by IPL owners the gap would be significant. I think the Big Bash is still fully under CA at the moment with no privatisation?

I think the balance with lathem at the top give more batting depth, add in Nathan Smith and if his bowling sucks we know we have Bracewell.
As a former opening bowler I loved the Ravindra dismissal. I miss doing that to people. Beat them swing, yorker, take out the stumps. Brought back some memories.
Sri Lanka bowled and fielded well. Some of our guys their slot selection wasn't the greatest. Especially when we were already in a hole with plenty of overs to go where they could have taken their time and saw off some of the bowlers.
One of our commentators (not a former player) came up with a daft point. Asitha was getting the ball to swing in the opening overs and he makes out it would stop after he's bowled 2-3 overs. By that logic the first change bowler wouldn't be able to swing the ball after the opening bowlers had finished. Asitha had the seam coming down perfectly. That ball if it was in good enough condition was going to swing.
