I found this really hard to understand. Why does Hamas want to provoke Israel to this degree? They are pretty much fighting the best of USA military's equipment with not much more than rocks and stones. I think Israel, it's leader and generally it's people are obnoxious racists' who don't deserve the backing of the Western world. Hamas aren't going to win many friends out of this attack, but considering what's already happening to their people maybe this is the lesser of two evils.

I have not had a lot to do with Jewish people.

However the dealings I have had tend to fit the stereotype I say with some regret.

Common sense tells me there must be more people I could meet who might change my view.

I can compare the Jewish thing, in my mind anyway, with the 300 year old stand off in Ulster between Catholics and Protestants, which is as much racial as religious.

The bitterness between those people is inexplicable to me, and that seems to be the case between many Jews and Arabs.

However one of the Israeli families attacked, and killed, in this incident were very moderate and taught their kids Arabic as well as Hebrew.

The looks like Putin and Iran taking advantage of the mess in Merka right now.

Asians are not known for their creative nature. Hard working yes. Creative no.
