I don't see the club keeping dal as it's a mutual option. I think Warbrick is his replacement and AKP is Shecks replacement with Mellar and maybe a Amituanai or Norris?

Also look out for Harry Lutoi (sorry if that's wrong) that kid can find the try line.
Absolutely agree on Harry Tauafiafi-Iutoi - The Kid is real good. Strong and pretty fast. Exactly the type of player who would go to another level playing NRL.

I also saw people assuming Boyd wants to leave, I'm just curious if he wants to go to another Titans environment and be crap again? Any substantial rumors from across the ditch? He's becoming integral to our success and would he wants to leave it behind even if we table a good offer?

I don't assume that he WANTS to leave, however there's a couple of factors to consider.

1. He is Australian and is thus, more inclined to eventually go home.
2. We might be limited with how much we can offer him, considering we already have a 'close to' a $1m half.
3. Who says only the titans would want him?

From a slightly different angle, it is very unusual that one of the weaker clubs could buy an established top-four halves combo without totally destroying their cap. Surely the Dragons and whoever else must be putting the feelers out.

Dragons have signed Keaon on 1.2mil/season and have now upped their offer for Drinkwater to 1mil/season. That just goes to show how out of touch they are with their recruitment

Dragons? 🤣
I haven't checked....so these clubs have regular halves secured - Dolphins, Eels, Knights, Sharks, Tigers, Dogs, Roos, Manly, Storm, Raiders, Cows, Bears

Potential bidders? - Rabbitohs (Humphreys? AI said he's on 150K and might be squeezed due to Haas??), Broncos (has Perez), Dragons (🤣), Chiefs '28? Titans (🤣)

Realistically Rabbitohs can be a good option, and I have no words if he chooses Titans or Dragons as he has Stockholm syndrom + PTSD combined

For sure the options are limited.. for now.

The Dragons may get rid of Flanno and hire a coach that he has a previous relationship with.

Could be the bunnies.

DCE is only on a one year deal at the Chooks.

Ben Hunt/Duffy are off contract at the end of the year at the Broncos.

Clifford is off contract at the Cowboys.

It really depends how bad he wants to go back to Australia. It's not like we're paying him a lot to be over here, so he might be happy signing as cover. Who knows?

Chooks have Walker, Broncos signed Perez as heir, Clifford's picking up dally m points so could be doing well....Boyd might just stay with us if it's that far away in NQ and he probably chose us anyway by picking up his option a few months ago....our renovation guy needs to ask Webby next time for some scoops lol

CHT needs to be 6 for the foreseeable future. It works having him there and unless someone far better comes along don't fix what isn't broken. Although he may not want to stay if a decent long term offer isn't made soon. Along with Boyd. I'd love to see us lock them in for a bit longer. We have so much talent coming through but the whole bird in the hand thing is very true.

Metcalf may have better skills at 6 and 7 but I don't feel that he controls a game well. Almost a bit Shaun Johnson ish? He can pull a rabbit out of the hat to get a win but a better organised half wouldn't need to. Does that make sense? Boyd just seems to do the right thing at the right time and is maybe more solid than flash but he gets the job done. I feel more confident watching Boyd and CHT than I do when Mets is playing.
I do like the suggestion of Metcalf playing fullback. In a Reece Walsh kind of role. That would give us some real speed and flair at the back. And if CHT or Boyd get injured we have a match fit replacement. I don't want to see him go as he's great insurance for the halves.
Although defence at fullback and the ability to stay on the field week after week could be a factor. But that goes for him playing in the halves too. It worries me going all in on Metcalf with his injury record. We don't need another Rocco

And awesome news on Erin Clark. Well done

I love his natural ability to get to the try line, he has a real instinctive knack of creating just enough space to get a try. I really hope he kicks on with us.

The other guy who continues to impress me from the Flegg side is Emosi Ravosai, dude is a beast and provides instant impact off the bench.
