Ruth Graves Wakefield ran the Toll House Inn in Massachusetts, where she prepared all of the food for the inn’s guests. She had developed quite a reputation for her cooking, but in 1930, while preparing a batch of Chocolate Butter Drop Do cookies, Ruth realized she was out of baker’s chocolate. Assessing what substitute ingredients she had on-hand, she chopped up a bar of Nestle’s semi-sweet chocolate and tossed the pieces in with the mixture. Expecting the chips would melt into the dough as they cooked, like baker’s chocolate would, she was surprised to find that they had instead retained their shape, but were soft and gooey. The success of these treats had her recipe for Chocolate Chip Cookies featured in several newpapers and on a Betty Crocker radio program. Ruth patented her creation, and it quickly became a favorite snack worldwide

Takeaway: Sometimes, running out of ingredients can lead to something even better!

And this is what has happened to Webster a number of times so far over the last few seasons. With missing ingredients this season in particular he has stumbled upon the Warriors equivalent of Chocolate Chip Cookies. Unfortunately, when you do get ingredients back you change the recipe and you no longer have the best cookie that there is.

Now, each ingredient is fine in its own right but you also have to get the recipe right or you end up with some that just don't work as well as some others do together.

It looks like Andrew 'Ruth Wakefield' Webster is going to be forced back to that accidental Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe for at least the next week.

What in the diabetes rant is this inruin

Too many chocolate drops and we’ll look like the West Tigers

I prefer my women in the kitchen, not the coaches box

Apologies in advance ladies

Quite a few reports thay he was doing very well at training. As we know that never automatically translates to game time. ACL for a player like him is much slower come back than Barnett. The more I see the more I think cup for a couple of rounds would have been better for all.
I think the stress of Boyd taking his 7 jumper 100% adds to that as well.
Yeah mate that top 2 inches is very much underestimated. You might be right

Dont know what was more annoying.....the soft turnovers or the way we couldnt defend them and let them score a few plays later.

Sharks are very slick at playing 2nd man play shape....always have been. But the ease they opened up that right edge at times....fmd! And while they were poor im not even sure u can put it all on the edge themselves......they were basically 2 passes then had us stripped for numbers......tends to suggest they already had us beaten in the middle.....and id also join the few that have noted Taines organizing on D probably still has lot to work on.

Pre season always felt our lack of x factor or speed in the backs was where we lacked. Those first few games sart of disguised that i think,,,,,but as teams have dominated or got parity the ruck against us its getting highlighted. That Niukore/Barnett money i hope is picking up some fleet footed fliers.

I think this talk of us being a top 2/4 outfit has been kiboshed now,,,,,which aint a bad thing tbh......looking forward to next weeks game.....the Storm are actually there for the taking.....if we're good enough.

Plus i wouldnt have picked it pre season but it appears a Boyd/CHT halves combination is the key to this team

Can anyone explain what the problem is on the right edge, is CNK the scapegoat of Dallin and Boyd/Laban or not, if Luke was being scapegoated or he was poor with every touch?

IMO defense wins games and when you can’t defend mistakes you’re done, feels 2024. I don’t mind the offload errors as that’s what we did first 3 rounds you’re gonna get more points via these risks, I don’t even mind dropped bombs that’s part of life, it’s the defense gaping holes and arm grabs that’s concerning

On the right edge none of those players trusted each other enough. A bunch of them missed tackles that they knew were theirs to make and they did not show more than an ounce of resilience to pressure. There was an ounce but. That ounce probably saved our season ending fifty point experience which in true Warriors fashion is on the board for next week if we're not careful.

Back it up against what?

Your generic ‘we lost it upfront’ comment?

Next you’ll tell me that we lost the small moments.

Words of a hardcore fan….
Not what I said. My comment was about the wrestle and the sharks finding their front consistently and therefore fast PTB speed

I think its a compound of all of that, also just not dominant in the middle, giving him tough decisions but he also chose the wrong one everytime so bit of all
