All of a sudden I can't wait for Fragile Berry to come back. At least his defense is levels above anyone in our backline. Ali is doing really well and trying hard in Cup. Same as AKP.
Altho it is not a quick fix. A TT - DWZ -Berry -Leaitaua -AKP backline is quite promising.
I wasn't interested in Arthurs. Too vanilla for me when we have XFactor developing but boy, a vanilla centre who can tackle and organise a defensive line is upgrade at the moment.

Not as bad as last week but still not good enough to go anywhere this year.
The flaws we all saw in our backline have been exposed.
Roger has been diabolical since announcing Wakefield, I’d give AKP a shot.
Charnze with one of his worst, I thought centre was worth a shot but yeah I was wrong, injury has probably given Ali a shot.
Metcalf and Boyd chemistry isn’t there, sad but injury may have done us a favour here to see if CHT is the better foil for Tannah
DWZ did his job today which keeps him there over Roger.
Kinda a free shot against Melbourne next week- we are on a hiding to nothing but it may give the guys a chance to refind some form with zero expectations

Ali and AKP at the same time might be a stretch, get Ali back in with RTS and CHT and then if Rts cant get out of the slump look at AKP

I think Taine is the long term FB and has way more upside. So I'd go the other way and tell CNK that it's time to move on.
I don't think either are a long term option.

So for me we are more balanced with CNK at the back.

I'm not sure Taine is as good at organising the defence which is especially important when our half/backrower combos are currently being rinsed.

Problem is, everyone knows that.... except Webby
Rog was being compared to Brian To'o. He was our metre eating winger and was relentless. If he loses that ability I think we need to move on. However AKP is not a reliable metre eating winger. We would need CNK at fullback to help cover the metres needed from the back 3 if we dropped RTS and replace him with AKP.

As others have noted, RTS is off the pace atm. His mind is clearly on Wakefield and his future. Webby needs to bring him back to earth and let him know he still has a year left here. Otherwise, I would have no issue with him making way for AKP.

It seemed every time we got a break we tried a high risk play today which never came off.

Really like TSS, he's getting better and better.
Because we were impatient and lacked the "turn up for each other' and "keep your egos in check" stuff.
What’s worse is now we desperately need Boyd and he’s still shaky asf.
I agree he's shaky but I can only remember young SJ and Thurston as the magicians who could pull greatness out of their butts behind a poor pack.

If WE can pull together and tighten up the ship we have points in us. But only on the back of the cliché possession and territory KPI's.

Good team but I'd get rid of Laban. He offers nothing.
He'll be alright. I disagree that he offers nothing as in I don't think it's time to write him off yet. Not by a long shot.

My two cents is that we might benefit by rotating our squad. Say we start Demetric and Tanner and have Fish and Ford start from the bench. My only point on this is getting more recovery time into our starters and getting more minutes into our young benchies.
