Can't really complain about the officiating. We got a good run with the penalties. Could have been a lot worse.

The Sharks capitalised on our mistakes.

It is fine trying to play a more expansive game. However, there is still a time and place. A few pushed passes when we really needed to play out the set and get the game into a gind which is our main strength.

If there was any positive in all of that it would be that it was refereed really well, which i'd then worry about because we all know losing teams tend to get shittier calls... cnk was very very bad... was very noticeable that boyd stepped it up for the brief time after metcalf goes off, so yeah the theory that they don't play together well probably confirmed ... still, we have a genuine team here - parts are falling off the side, but there's hope

What a predicament we have with our halves, one is a clone of Cooper Cronk without the ability to tackle while the other has the potential to challenge for the Dally M but can't stay uninjured for more than 10 weeks.

Do we put Ali L in at centre (He won't defend worse than CNK)? I say yes.

CHT back to 6.

Forwards were decent today I thought, it was all the mistakes from the backs that killed us. Perhaps 3 trys directly from stupid mistakes? Some poor decision making.

The one positive today was Demi and Tanner.
But Geez I sound like I broken record but our backline is by far the worse in the comp. Do u think any of these young Testosterone fulled backs give a fuck that they’re marking up against any one of ours?? They’d be licking their lips

I missed the game unfortunately, saw LM got injured at the end, who else got injured?

What was the issue for today?
Balance of the team, Laban, Boyd and CNK defensively, mistakes galore, no marker at the play the ball twice, A Grade park errors, poor use of the interchange. CNK should never play 1st Grade again, RTS and Pompey not far behind. All we be selected next week to be given the chance to atone as per Andrew Webster usual M.O.
