He's a farmer's son. That was part of what coaches liked about him. He's farm fit. Gets great spring off those legs into a step. He's no slouch which took me by surprise. He's going to be a 6 or centre. Can kick well for goal.
Yup, Always rated this kid. Hes taller than Naufahu too. Once he fills out, Holy hecka!
Thanks bangbros and dannevegas for your replies. Hopefully he has what it takes to make to first grade. I seem to recall that he played a few NSW Cup games I think? How did he do?

If Ali and Naufahu had a baby, I bet it would look like Rodney.
Too experienced for this group I would say.
Mellars is probably there to spend max time with coaching staff. But the rest are all kids. RTV probably next most experienced.
I thought Jack Thompson and Brandon Norris was supposed to be with this group, but maybe they're spending time back in Aus with fam etc.
Also I guess Caelys Putoko has bit longer off given he was with the Cooks.
Would have loved to see the big lads Tepatasi Laumalili and Emosi Ravosai training with this group.
Another face I would've expected here is Junior Sikuvea.
I guess Makaia Tafua, Jason Salalilo and Patrick Moimoi fall into the same bucket as Kali.

Man, Naufahu ain't no 6ft4! Lol. That's Payne Haas height. Naufahu would be around 6ft2. Not sure why NRL/Wiki all those pages exaggerate heights.
Fittler use to be around 6ft1 in his playing days. He probably scrapes in at around 6ft nowadays.
I saw RTV at one of the few nsw cup games i attended last year. That kid looks closer to 6ft4. And still growing.

Yip, there's our different body shapes some forum members wish for. Huge young men. Altho, they're years away from first grade.
I went and watched the Kiwis play Aussie in 2018 and the guy I thought looked the biggest at the ground was Jordan McLean. I’m 6 foot 4 and he’s listed at 6 foot 5, I reckon that would be pretty close. They do seem to exaggerate many though I think
Agreed on Whyte not being 6'4, although RTV def isn't 6'4
I think they're both 6'2
There was a photo on RTV story standing side by side with AFB and he looks the same height.
Ravosai and Laumalili looked clearly taller than him when they all played Flegg this year

Laumalili didn't play the nsw cup game i watched live. Just from my eye test , Rodney looks like a large kid. There wasn't much change between him & kosi. Who, from my sideline view looked a tad taller than Kosi.
Mind you, I didn't have my Mr Magoo reading glasses on
I don't think anyone compares size wise to Laumalili & Ravosai in our system? Just guessing, Laumalili looks around 6ft5 plus?
Or maybe because we have a squad of dwarfs, Our taller players look bigger than they actually are? Lol.
