Normal state of play really, player with a high profile, at a pivotal point in their career goes to test the market.

Jett Cleary is our most loyal Ozzy half (He is the one who we have the best chance of keeping). When developing halves we simply must aim for at least one marquee Kiwi half. Otherwise we will forever be experiencing this, its too hard to hold onto star Ozzy halves, the pull back to Australia, money, market, sponsorships, lifestyle and family is too enticing.

With Bellamy tipped for that role overseeing Hannay, I agree that I think Ivan could come over into that role. Just can’t see him only being apart of one sons journey

Boyd, Martin and CHT are backups at best. Hopefully Boyd takes his game to another level over the offseason and creates some competition for that 7 jersey before metcalf returns.

Jye Linnaine could be the dark horse of our halves stocks. The club were not put off by two ACL injuries and he moved to Auckland to get a head start on pre season recovery.
It will be interesting to watch his development in Cup.
