Hopefully a big win tonight for Jaz. They are on track.Congratulations to Jazz on his 150th,
Good player but I'm glad we have Clarke this season what an absolute weapon he's become![]()
Would have won if their discipline was better. Two sin bin killers.Come on Tigs!
Most teams would kill for the Brisbane Roster. Something really wrong in their organization. Is it possible that Brisbane aren't as good as everyone thinks? They've had the bulk of this roster for 4 years (since 2021) and have made the finals once during that period (albeit a GF appearance). Newcastle have played more finals games than Brisbane over that period and no one thinks of them as an NRL powerhouse. Potential is great but it's clearly failed to convert into anything tangible results wise.
They havnt got a hooker thats got defence and conntrol thier attack and FB that sets their defence. Put Egan and CNK in their side and they a whole different teamIs it possible that Brisbane aren't as good as everyone thinks? I actually think there are some pretty gaping holes in their roster. They are clearly missing a JFH type enforcer in the forward pack. They might have size but there is no aggression in their middles. They roll over so meekly if you challenge them ever so slightly to a modest grind. I also question their depth in the middles. As soon as Haas/Carrigan come off, everything turns to horses**t. So clearly the strategy against them every week is to hang in there for 20 minutes until the 2 come off. Unlucky for them, Haas/Carrigan started this game like a blusted flush. Most teams would kill for the Brisbane Roster. Something really wrong in their organization.
Team of champions but not a champion team.
Reynolds and Hunt are overrated as a combo as I said preseason and they dont have guys you can rely on when the heat gets turned upIs it possible that Brisbane aren't as good as everyone thinks? I disagree. They are good at their main offensive job which is to make meters for their team. But defensively, they don't go after opposition forwards by putting shots on and trying to get into their heads like a JFH/Barney do for us or a Tapine does for Canberra. The battle in the middle is as much mental/psychological as it is physical and I don't really think they have anyone who are bullies.
To much chiefs, Not enough Indians. To much individual performances but they just can’t put it together as a team. Mamm, Haas, Walsh have all been in the headlines for the wrong reasons. Your 3 top players getting in trouble every couple of months must suck for team moral.I think I've said it before but 2025 Broncos look like the 2012 Wahs. Roster stacked with raw talent but just a bunch of pre-madonnas who've only ever been told how amazing they are. They just aren't worth the trouble and you're better off in the long run cleaning house and showing the lot of them the door. They won't do it though. They'll just sack Madge instead.
I think they'll be a bit flat from our game as we were. No Fogarty and Starling helps
yep, I think there's more than a decent chance of a Raiders loss. If that happens, then today's result eradicates the outcome of last week's game. But I'm a bit nervous about the Chooks given how inconsistent they've been. Hope they do us a solid.Chooks are a decent team. They almost took out a full strength doggies
