There's a *NSW Cup* Magic Round in Tamworth this year but only includes 5 of the 6 games of the round. Doesn't look like we're involved. Instead we have a "home" game vs the Raiders in Wollongong. What's the go with that? Also, does anyone know why the Raiders are hosting us in Sydney this weekend?

From a reliable source who is a commentator for NSWRL:
Both Canberra and Warriors agreed for the 2025 season both home and away games will be played at neutral venues in Sydney to minimise issues with travel between Canberra and Auckland.

Seems like the Raiders get the better end of this deal

This is a really weird decision.

I have a vague recollection of the Warriors getting flights to Sydney and a bus down to Canberra. But I've checked and there are direct flights. They are expensive which is making me dread a potential family holiday to the Gold Coast.

The Warriors still need to fly internationally which is usually what the Australian teams complain about and Canberra get a bus trip.

This match also doesn't match the return match for the NRL sides. This match is on the 10th and the NSW Cup game is on the 25th. I often attend the stand alone NSW Cup games. So, this will be one less.

I really like the look of this team and would love to watch the game.
Great to see so much interest which is reflection of the make up of the side.
Genuine look of a team who could go deep into the season.
Hopefully for everyone’s sake it throws up some answers to a few of the questions re first grade. 🤞🏾

Its free to watch SG Ball (and maybe NSW Cup and others?) try highlights.
But a tip would be to not scroll too far down when looking to watch a reply if you dont want spoilers

Should be.
Does anyone have a monthly sub already and can watch one of last weekends junior games?

Yip, full game and highlights for all games going back to round 1 of Matts/SG Ball.

4 Warriors games to watch this weekend, so pretty decent value for someone like me who follows the age group teams fairly closely.

Hopefully the NSW Cup coverage has commentary.

I sent a message to BarTV before Riz gave his quality insight.

Here's their response.

Yes, all games are available both live and fully on-demand. You can start a game from the beginning (when it's halfway through), you can skip forward and back (it's not "live only") so all of that should be fine. At the moment our app and website doesn't save where you are up to so if you leave and come back you might need to skip to where you left off (but this is something we might be able to introduce in the coming weeks). But otherwise you can watch whenever you want, pause, skip etc.

There's no restrictions on country either - we have a lot of NZ fans signing up. The only note is - the times on our platform are local (to where the game is being played) so our Kiwi friends might need to be conscious of time difference.
