Not good enough, why no? 😂

Please explain, don't you think our coaches can save him?
He's a Feleti Mateo clone. Big, Talented and not sure if he's a forward or halfback.
When he thinks he's a halfback he shirks the hard stuff and gets lazy & overplays his hand.
The moment a coach drums into him that he's a big powerful running second rower that can put the backs in space with a deft offload or with soft hands with a short pass is when you'll see the best of him.

He needs some of the AFB money!

It's obvious AFB can't be replaced. Direct the coin where it matters!

Deffo a wee bit worried about Wayde...

Do we know how much he's on, and how much he's likely to command? Imo he's been in that tier 2 of hookers for a while, but towards the end of last year and early this year he's in the top echelon, but has only been so for a short while.

Was a bit of a worry he only signed a one year contract extension with us, I hope he hasnt been biding his time and then jumps ship for a cool mil with someone like the Dragons

He can earn that here.

Never seen someone look for less work than him.

Actively moves to the other side of the ruck to avoid tackling.

If it ain't a no look pass 10m from the defensive line then he's not interested in partaking.

Makes David Fafita look like an absolute workhorse.
I’m with you, I want no part in Josh coming to the warriors. I don’t remember seeing a lazier player ever and I have been watching since 89

We bought his brother over which was a smart move.

My guess is we will not be able to offer the biggest pay packet, but we will be able to offer a significant top tier deal that anyone would be happy with.

Add the bonus stuff about playing for a good team with a good coach, going deep in the finals - then you have a pretty compelling offer.

Or go run 13th on a milly, what do I know 🤣🤣

With his brother arriving here it feels like he’s happy here. We backed him to come over when panthers wanted him to stay and battle Koriasau and likely learn of him and I would say his vision of why he came is coming to fruition even though a few coaches later.

I'm enjoying the 'we will talk when he is ready and we are ready'

Appears to be a good balance between coach and player. A healthy relationship vs previous player/agent power we have seen

He’s been with us a bit now and through some grim times. With the likes of SJ earning well under what he potentially could elsewhere it almost feels like there’s a situation where the players that have been through the tough times are willing to do what the team needs to accommodate the players needed to bring that maiden title?

I could see Walker moving on for one last contract back in Aus. Also he didn’t look too flash to start the year and now he’s hurt, a lot of miles on those tyres as he started so young.

Barnetts the one we don’t want to let go home
Turns out Walker has been playing with an ankle problem all year. If anyone can rehab his ankle properly and get him back up there it is the Warriors medicos, I rate our physios et al.
Expect Walker will come back in better than ever. If his ankle is done then the solution is obvious.

But lets remember Tohu looks great out there, so the Warriors do injury management brilliantly now, the list of successes in our medical wing is extraordinary (as someone with a medical bent I cannot overstate how impressed I have been).

A quick look at the Medicos management of Chronic issues (the hardest to manage) is impressive.
We sorted Mitches Neck.
We manage Lukes Hammys.
Got Tohu through a season on dicky Knees
Banned SJ from kicking for an age till his groin finally came right this week.
Avoided Egan playing straight after an HIA.

On top of that have been a lot of acute injuries including broken legs. Seeing TMM back in form just shows that given the right amount of time, our medical division can manage the hard stuff.

It may seem off topic in recruitment, the point I want to make is that it is not, players like Luke, Barnett, and Egan are more likely to stay where they experienced the best medical care over most other re signing considerations. Most people...the average joe....won't move to another town when they have had chronic injury and have finally found a good Doctor eh...this is true even moreso in a contact sport.

Not that there’s no chance he leaves, but keep in mind his little brother has just signed on with the club. They’re fully aware of his importance and he’s shaping as a future captain. I believe he’s already captained before, if not, he’s most definitely a leader in the club. We signed him as an unwanted player with potential, and have turned him into the player he is today. Club is on the rise, with one of the best coaches in the comp. Why would we leave?

Went to south's game. Got there early went to bar ran into mcfab an cam george went across road hit owner an a very big islander. Owner never left bar to last 20 of nsw cup game so guess I this dude more important.
