Although he is only 28 you get the feeling his time in the game could be limited.

Not uncommon for big guys to regress quickly.

I would expect him to take the best deal and I doubt we would be able to match

He sold it already ..it was on real estate.com say he sold his Essendon house and brought in moonee ponds








This is regarding the sale of his house off the storm forum. Not sure if if eventuated or he’s sold a second home or any of the circumstances?

Can real estate.com confirm he's leaving the storm?

For me, the fact he gives his all when playing for the Kiwi's, shows he still has a lot of pride in being a New Zealander. His past comments regarding the warriors would've been while we were playing poorly. Surly his outlook would have changed seeing how we are performing. I'm not too stressed if he doesn't want to come here, surely we can attract someone else albeit on a slightly lower performance level than him. Not just the NRL management but I'm sure players would be taking notice of all our matches being sold out. I just mentioned this to my brother the other night, that it actually seems like all the stands are full verses past sold out games where some are empty. I believe a poster that went to the game confirmed this also.

Media reports have stated that he returned overweight after his injury hence he has been kept in reserves

Apparently he was about to sign with the club and at the last second had a look at this forum. He said he hoped his brothers could join him but said there was a poster that made him feel concerned for his brothers safety so declined

Unrelated to recruitment, but just as an aside.

If you see chunks of seats empty at "sold out" games, it's generally due to all the corporate tickets the club gives out to sponsors etc. Which unfortunately means people that aren't even keen to go get given tickets, or they just don't get taken by anyone.

This could be changing the hotter the Wahs show becomes, where people that wouldn't normally go are going if the eye test is seeing less empty spots at sold out games.

Just a thought anyway, as the sold out/empty seats thing gets thrown around a lot on here.

Impossible to replace afb- the only thing bringing me comfort is Barnetts form.
Funny one with nas- thought he was boxing all off season- looked pretty good knocking Wallace’s teeth out- when did he get injured?
I wonder if his boxing ambitions line up with the storms? Maybe city kickboxing could be a trump card….

Ultimately it's a business decision. We need an AFB-level forward - ta-da! THE colossus appears! Offer him $900k per season and he'll be here in a jiffy. If not, Jacob Saifiti will have to do.

He is but he's well above Ale Bunty, and Zyon Maiu’u.

Of course he's not. AFB is a top 2 prop so anyone we get is going to be a step down.

But that's the beauty of Webby tho, he looks at your skillset and fits it into the team, as opposed to having a predetermined role for a prop. If we got NAS and Webby said 'we need you to make 170m a game, play 60 min, have great defence and score 10 tries this year' he'd be laughed at. Very few can do what AFB does and Webby will know that more than anyone.

If we got NAS I have no doubt in my mind that Webby will use him well. 40+ minutes of sheer power and aggression, offloads and tackle breaks. Would more than likely need to couple that with a Bunty/Ale/ Zyon Maiu’u standard type of prop
