Yes, Trump does seem to be going nuclear, in the sense that he is pushing the boundaries and questioning/challenging laws, the constitution, rejecting international agreements etc. I like some questioning and others are concerning.
However there was concerns in Bidens time with liberties aswell. Both sides have issues. The difference is the conservative or super populist like Trump will do it in your face, while the left will do it underground and behind closed doors.
That's my view.

I see the following possibilities: (1) Biden/Obama-type Democrats; (2) Bernie Sanders/AOC-type Democrats; (3) some historical example of extreme left; or (4) a hypothetical extreme left. Any of those?
