Hey fellas apologies for the radio silence on my end, had every intention of playing this season of wrightys game but samoa (specifically the mozzies) have gotten to me and i've been in and out of hospital with dengue the last week.

I would make two points, one i wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy, not even Ashley Klein and two best of luck with the next few rounds catching up it looks like its been a bunch of fun.

You are more than welcome to play in the next game next year and I can send you a PM when the thread is live for sign ups so you don't miss it. It sounds like you are still fighting the last it off so our thoughts are with you during this tough time and I hope you recover soon and get better and on your feet. Following on from other best in class practices by world leading organisations we wish to make a press release at this juncture.

Before the game started Wrighty did an extensive talent scouting exercise and James Maloney and Willie Mason were identified as priority targets. They are coming to an organisation that truly values them both as athletes but also their characters as men. We have prepared extensive profiling both psychological and physical attribute profiling from game tape and interviews in coming up with our assessment. We wish to thank the Hodges agency for supplying general managers across the NRL with the finest legends the game has seen in the modern NRL era.

We wish to also address the use of AI. Any Hodges challenges will be performed exclusively by a human (Wrighty) in keeping with the Hodges agency directive issued today 28 Dec 2025. We want to support the Hodges agency and are happy to conform to requirements especially this one which is very sensible. And wish to add at no point in the past have we used AI to perform a Hodges challenge.

As Wrighty disclosed before the game started he is using AI as a sounding board but makes sure all footballing decisions are exclusively human driven and human centred according to Wrighty's nature, personality and preferences.

I am 53 so a BBQ story to me is a legit story about a BBQ so if it a millenial term I am happy to redo this. When we bought our Barbecue between myself and my ex wife it was a gift from my mother. I had never Barbecued before in my life but I decided that the husband should be in charge of the BBQ so I took over the cooking and did a fair job. I never attempted chicken as I was nervous. But we had plenty of sausages. The main problem was the cover wasn't very good and couldn't stand up to the Wellington wind. It kept blowing off and rain would make the BBQ rust. The Gas was cheap to run and a tank would run about 3 months. I didn't have a kiss the cook cheesy apron but next marriage ( if there is a next one) i will deliberately buy one just to make a statement.
One of my friends came over once for a BBQ and they started cooking on my BBQ which I shouldn't have allowed. We enjoyed a christmas day by the BBQ and had plenty of good times. I never figured out the tradition of pouring beer over the steaks (is that a thing?). It was pretty cheap as well and only costed like $350 for a good one.
