Apologies, the fine if refused for this is actually 700k. But hopefully we get to see the video - special karma involved in the acceptance of this task.

But that is the interesting thing about this game and something I myself thought at first.

However, I think 2 great halves vs 1 all time-great and 1 ordinary half is pretty even.

Take Andrew Johns, if he was paired with Brett Seymour. Then take Daly Cherry Evans paired with Cameron Munster. That is very subjective as to which is the better halves pairing.

Also what if you had Andrew Johns and Darren Lockyer in the halves but paired that up with Will Kennedy at full back and Jesse Ramien at center.

Then another team could have Hunt and Reynolds in the halves but paired up with Billy Slater at Fullback and Greg Inglis in the centres.

And that is not even getting into the forward packs. It is really subjective as to which team would be better.

But I agree that without an elite half you probably can't win. That is why I went so hard for Johns and Stacey today. All of us who got one of those halves will be deciding whether to spend large for a second one or use that money on a full back/monster forward pack or just have a good player in every position. The ones who didn't get one of those halves needs to be thinking how much they are willing to spend to get one or if they have another strategy to win.
A fascinating game of tactics. All very true.

It will be interesting how squads round out and with my game face off, it is all about balance.

While we are waiting a story for you.
I went with my now ex wife to Fiji about three years ago. We went on a day trip to a luxury tourist island where you drink and eat ice creams. I was wearing some warriors apparel and this Fiji local got talking to me. He had joined in the tour as he lived in Nandi and wanted to see what all the fuss was about on these tourist trips. The topic changed to the NRL so he started talking about the origin squads that had just been picked. I actually don't follow origin at all. I have nothing against the concept but as a Kiwi I am just not interested in it. So I had to smile and nod. I tried to change the topic on to the NRL itself but ne seemed mainly know about origin so the conversation died.
Then later we met nice couple form Brisbane. He also said he had noticed my Warriors hat as soon as he got on board the boat. And he was more knowledgeable about the Wahs and spoke in high terms about Shaun and the impact he was having. Then we spoke about how big Brisbane is as I wanted to know if it was a pain to drive around such a big city. This turned out to be a good question which got a detailed answer from him. They were a great couple. It nearly started to get into the territory of trading phone numbers but by mutual consent we didn't go there.
Moral of story: Always wear your Warriors clothing on holiday overseas.
