I had a couple of counter bids ready but deleted them to ask about the $10 bids and by the time I loaded them again she was all over.
Should be more prepared tomorrow.

I foolishly thought I could get Taumalolo for $500K so I bowed out early of that race. Yes he was a good get for you and not too pricey in the scheme of the game.

I foolishly thought I could get Taumalolo for $500K so I bowed out early of that race. Yes he was a good get for you and not too pricey in the scheme of the game.

He was the specific player I was referring to when I was asking about players in their prime vs today. In his prime he was unstoppable. Ideally I would have got him for a bit less but we are all going to have to adjust on the fly very quickly.

We all had to pay too much vs what we wanted with a few exceptions. E.g Tuqiri for $700K was a steal as was Roger for $600K - in my planning I wrote them both of think they would be around $1M.

Dave Loveridge - the fantastic half back with his dive pass service to the fly half. He was incredible and I wanted to be like him when I was 7. Here is a pic

Had the best side step and best body english to shake a defender I have seen. Controversially dropped by Auckland as an incumbent All Black and was selected for some time as a club player to the All Blacks. Pic below





#3 of all time is Mark Cowboy Shaw
Cowboy Shaw in what I think was his debut match king punched an australian forward in the mouth and got sent off. He was seen a loose unit and enforcer after that and had mystique about him. Stayed loyal to playing for the Manuwatu at domestic level despite that there would have been offers from the big unions. Pic below

Clinton Toopi:

Recently honoured in the forum poll as easily the best Warriors centre ever! This guys the real deal,, a Junior Kiwi forward rep, he was shifted to the centres with the Warriors. After making his Test debut for the Kiwis in 2001 he went on to play 22 tests. Toopi took his place in the Warriors’ grand final team in 2002 and with his partner in crime, Francis Meli, became the best edge the Warriors have ever seen! A player know for his passion and aggression, Toopi went on to play 8 seasons and 150 games in the NRL before moving on to super league. During his 150 game career he had a phenomenal strike rate for a centre with 63 tries.
