Being it was one point brought up on the agenda, I guess as people teaching there could be an understanding of what they are supposed to be teaching geographically wise being that the place in question is unrecognised? No, its just the correct answer. The fact it was even part of a negotiation around pay and working conditions for NZ teachers is of huge concern. Just as the violence in Nigeria, Trade negotiations or the plight of the Javan Rhino shouldn't be part of them.

I really don’t think so being that we need an understanding of our stance towards Palestine being that we were always on opposite sides of the table to where we now sit and could understand them wanting clarification on what they are encouraged to educate around the whole conflict and how it’s come to be. Just my view anyway

Personally I know which way I’m leaning towards it being closer to the truth. Might be political bias but the track record you point out doesn’t help either
