Needs to be number 6 or 1. You're wasting his playmaking and kicking talent putting him at center or forwards. Same way the Carter Gordon experiment failed, his best attributes are absolutely useless in the centers.

Then you’ve got Matt Burton who in my opinion is a better centre but has a boot that sees him play five eighth. Both require a running threat, but also need to set up tries too. That’s why CHT’s season is underrated with his try assists I reckon

Burton doesn't have the playmaking/short kicking game to justify him as an elite half, but I'm not so sure he's a better center, you would have massive defensive issues and I'm not sure he's strong enough ball carrier. Even though I know he won a GF playing there. He's just an above average five eighth imo.
But you are right in the sense that there are similarities between him and Carter Gordon. That's why I though Wallabies should be trying to get Burton as a 10 or 12. His long kicking game would be more appreciated in a sport that values territory over possession.

To me he seemed like a target signing, not depth & not a punt.
We wanted him and we got him.
A solid pre-season and trials, can't see him being anywhere else other than starting.
Knew it wouldn't fly in here but my idea is based on having a centre who will set his winger away more often than not.

Best I can give you is a hit up merchant with a good kick chase. You may also choose Leka if needed
i see a lot of people commenting that rugby 360 starts in October.... Has anyone taken into account that they will also have a preseason too. Players will have to be there earlier than October.

There is supposedly no preseason for R360 in its innaugral season. Players to report by Oct 2nd as per the contract leaked(can expect some leeway for players if they are playing GF). first season is just 8 weeks and finishes by xmas.

The potential is still there imo. Was very rusty coming back this year. But he’s an absolute monster. 6’1 but pretty imposing frame of muscle, like would be bigger than Leka who’s the same height. Needs to really impress this offseason though and work his way back up the ladder
Will be interesting to see how this affects RTS motivation.
Like the rumours are that Storm have told Pap he can leave if he signs R360. Same with Lomax and Eels.
Not sure how we will handle it given wing is our weakest position
