I really want to see akp and leka strike up a good combo the key to his 2023 Try scoring haul was the people inside him creating Opportunities especially david fifta when he would get the late off loads going we do camp the most on the opposition line also so plenty chances to clean up the little grabbers in behind the line.

If gannon and taine get a start coupled with the addition of akp and return of metcalf we do gain quite a bit of much needed pace across the park

Came across under 18s union NZ v Aus 2025 game on YouTube while scrolling, figured Harry Inch might of played in last year's game so searched it out, and indeed he was playing, he played off the bench and was subbed on in about the 50th minute, looked like he was playing fullback, he caught a couple of high kicks under huge pressure in slippery conditions , his defense looked solid as, the few chances he had running he hit the line hard could easily see him making breaks, his kicking was a bit sus but that's because catching the ball on the full in union you can take it on the mark... My breakdown he deserves all the praise he had been getting from union circles and no wonder they disappointed... League would showcase his skillset better, give him more opportunities /with ball in hand, I can see him slipping into league with ease
He is a league fullback. Watched the clip, it's as plain as the nose on your face. His instincts are to attack kicks and rove.
Be dumb to play him anywhere else apart from Fullback or Wing (Wing debut with a mind to transition to fullback).
In the shittest team too..
They're not shit at attack though eh. Their backs are wayy better than ours with the ball.

Yup, soon as I saw the highlights I thought fullback too. Get the ball at pace on the outside of his man with options and skill to run or pass.

Curious about his speed comparable to other fullbacks as highlights can be hard to tell. Has everything else you want by the looks of it.

There's a logjam of halves for us even before he signed - a good off season and starting as our NSW Cup fullback wouldn't shock me tbh.

He feels like our Ethan strange more than anything, 6 foot, strong, ball running 6, that can kick too.
Yeah just from the highlights im more in line with this comparison as well.

I like in most those clips how he runs with the ball in 2 hands (which always makes defenders hold off). Looks more a power runner than a straight out speed freak. Passes into space and a strong front on defender.....can kick as well....looks more a potential stand off than anything else to me.

As for our other recruit AKP, We needed some genuine speed somewhere so im glad we've filled that quota. As with most speedsters tho the key will be the players inside him and what sort of space they can create. Not to mention he'll need to up his involvement on early hit ups and D.... looking at our outside back stocks a signing that was definitely needed tho.

Inch is good, great kicking skills but I would not class him as a league 6. A league 6 is like Strange from Canberra. Leaguies are usually a little more athletic and defensively tough. Could Inch become tougher? Yes, but he is not a line breaking attacking 6. I would say Linnane is more what we want. I could be wrong, but I have seen a fair bit of him and think he is your typical rugby 10, which while they excel in kicking and have a good passing game, many of them lack that attacking running game. I think we get excited on potential here much more than actual reality.
Just my opinion. I might be wrong...
Thank you brother.
A Warrior who has seen a fair bit of him in the trenches.
Here's hoping his attacking instincts can be broadened.
Know a couple rugby 10's who have crossed over and done well at grassroots.
I did a similar post on Linnane to be honest.
