You think Bunty would be worth a low ball contract for a Rabbitohs, Cowboys, Tigers or Knights. Their depth is shocking in the middle. Would be nice to see him around next season. There is expansion happening in the ESL soon, plenty of gigs around if he wants to keep going, he's only 29.

That ESL number of games rule is weird coming up for Bunty, considering there are Aussies every year going across with only a handful of NRL games under their belts. I'm not sure of the exact rules, maybe there is a rule around age. Liam Knight is a good example of a shit player getting a gig no issue.

Eels has been mentioned on a few occasions and only in recent times too, but also a recent article of super league. I wouldn’t be surprised if Bunty doesn’t want to line up against the Warriors such is his love for the club

I'd argue that our depth is fine but not having enough top end talent is the bigger issue, especially when the little top talent you have gets injured.

Always assumed Going would be leaving.

This is going to be a young NSW Cup team next year with a sprinkling of top 30 vets who aren't in first grade.

Going, Tu, Afoa, Ale, Kosi, Doyle etc - all good players but not in our plans and old enough for us to have an idea of who they are already.

They were there to transition us to our pathways fully taking over and we're almost there now.

TBH the only one leaving who I think we might have wanted to keep was Crosby, but I don't think we were desperate to keep him and he was already sliding down the pecking order.

Yeah but there is a catch that they have to be allowed to do a medical before Xmas this year, which some clubs will refuse to allow their players to do. Then it may be that there is a fair bit of promotional work to do next year so some high profile players may go across pretty quickly

He is a good player. I think he is the heart of that NSW Cup team. If he could serve as a back up dummy half it would be a no brainer for one of the last 4-5 teams to pick him up. He is an awesome team man and very underrated.
