General NSW Cup 2025

When do the reggies play and who have they got?

3pm Sunday (4th September) vs Dragons

I can't see it listed on the Sky TV Guide, and Bar TV doesn't have it scheduled yet either. Surely they will televise the finals?
  • Dragons came 2nd (9 points behind Warriors)
  • Dragons beat the Eels 24-18 last week in Finals Week 1
  • Warriors beat Eels two weeks prior 54-4 (R25)
  • Last Warriors v Dragons game was 14-14 (R22: 2nd August)
  • Round 7 Warriors beat Dragons 40-12

Can't quite figure out how we have to play the 2nd place team in our week one and don't get a home game.

Oh, well, sweeter when we get the cup I guess but they sure don't make it easy for being minor prems.

Out of curiosity, is the QLD cup a stronger or weaker comp and is it feasible to run a side in that comp with the talent available to us?

It's week 2 mate, and we go straight through to final if we win, 2nd chance next week if we lose.

More often than not, the NSW champ beats the QLD one. Teams like the Broncos spread their wider squad across multiple affiliate clubs so the NSW sides (with the exception of the Bears), are true reserve grade sides, & tend to have more depth
