Thought we might lose but that was pathetic, team looks tired and zero confidence, it’s going to get messy next week.
Think I’ve been in denial about us coming right but it’s been getting worse and worse.
Fuck it I’ll unleash on the team;
CNK tries hard and makes solid meters… BUT doesn’t have the speed to attack nor defend as well as he needs to.
DWZ breaks my heart but the man is struggling and I don’t know if there’s coming back.
Berry is vanilla as fuck but Webby clearly saw something, guy can’t last a game. Don’t think there’s coming back.
Pompey a bit invisible tonight but he been solid, the serviceable journeyman
RTS can hold his head high
CHT I keep hoping he’s turned the corner but I don’t trust him to get the job done.
Tanah can see why he’s been in cup
JFH has been a massive let done, not an onfield captain
Healy was good but needs to be the impact guy
TSS I’ve been underwhelmed compared to the other juniors, bit overhyped.
Capewell at least seems professional and has solid patches.
Marata use by date fast approaching, particularly for the price tag
Erin has been the shining light all year
TMM wasted as an impact bench spot, think he offers more than what we have in the halves currently
EIT, Leka and Demi have had solid introductions to first grade and although they’ve had a few glimpses of rookie fatigue they’ve done a more than commendable job.
Desperately need an overhaul in the back 5 next year but comfortable with our forward stocks

Pretty poor, in context massive too, instead of a penalty to get us out of our end ww get pinned and dce gets a field goal. Im not a fan of disruptor penalties but if thats not one what is?

Not one to blame the ref but fuck the bunker official hates us, 1 50/50 went against us when last week it was opposite and one where he never scored given.

It gives me 2022 against the sea eagles where Marty tipau scored a metre short and was given a try
Did Healy actually ground his try i didn't see it touch grass but hey ref gave it.

Love your sentiment bro... but our cattle are either to old or not good enough. But it is only about 4 positions ... all backline centres and wings. need tall young wings and fast wiry centres ... kind of pisses me off when they resign people you know should not be the there..
The try that Leka scored against the Knights is the greatest league try by an individual I have ever seen. We have him.
We have Egan returning who will hopefully have snapped out off whatever Malaise he was in last week.
I am a fish fan and believes he really organises our middle third defence well.
Boyd can goal kick like a pro
RTS is in vintage form
Most importantly playoffs games are reffed differently. We are getting killed by yardage penalties and various calls that thwart our pressure game. In the playoffs more will be let go.
We are in this - we have a shot. But only if we can build some self belief.

Go watch SJs 2011 try vs Broncs for a better individual try ;)

Anyway, good to get my unhinged no thought process ramblings out of the way.

The main positive to take out of the season has been the emergence of all the youngsters.

Demi, Leka, Laban, EIT, TSS, Healey. Another pre season and they will build further, the next crop of forwards are looking top notch

Hopefully we can unearth some quality of the likes in the backs.

I'm not too across the NSW cup. Does the non signing of Ale and Crosby mean they are looking to turn Laban or EIT into a middle?

In all reality. Whose spine are taking the Warriors over.
For me, Knights, Dragons and maybe South Sydney. Your most important positions and we're at the bottom. So to be where we are, credit to the coaching staff.
The club is in the best position future wise than it has ever been.
If Ponga is available 1st November, we most throw whatever we have to get him and hope Linnane/Cleary/Hansen kick on to be our 6 in 2027. Healthy Metcalf aswell.

Where the backs tho.
Salalilo and Sikuvaea will be the next middles up.
Out of that list I think Eddie shifts into the middle and Fatialofa to the centres
