The fact he was kicking goals at the start probably says there wasnt an injury to start off with.

Kind of saw this coming as to a previous post mid week.
Can't ignore the heart of CNK.
Tried sparking up the 2nd half but only Laban rose to the occasion.
Injuries didn't help.
Was a flat night,the Panthers came to play.
For the Kiwis sake.
Leota,Sorenson and rookie prop Luron Patea were outstanding for the Panthers.

CHT should of took the reins but he didn't, very disappointing

We're not quite there yet and it showed tonight. A few injuries and inexperience plus a very motivated opposition was our undoing. Don't forget we did exactly the same thing to them last time round.
Noticed a lot of 4 man tackles every time from them especially on our young guns and we never played to that shortened defence plus we once again didn't adapt quickly enough to the offload. It will be our undoing in further games down the line I reckon unless we have a strategy
Nothing that can't be fixed by playing guys who aren't injured or carrying niggles. Still can't figure why MGT was playing but hey, I'm not the coach. Pomps should be doing all the goal kicking
Don't want to see Reecey carving us a new one next week so defence, defence at training all week would be good and yes we did miss Capes.

Got a long way to go if we’re being real about taking it out this year. I hope we loosen the reins a lot more, play with a bit more freedom we’re a lot better that way. Offloads, Players in motion.
Yeah I've managed my expectations. If we're being honest and bias aside, we're not ready to win it this year. I think compared to other T4 teams like Dogs, Raiders, Storm and even Penrith we still have a long way to go. Our attack seems to be too predictable and we don't really have any x-factor players. Defence is also an issue especially on DWZ's edge.

Was at the game and when we were 2 behind and given a kickable penalty in the second halfwe choose to run and the last pass was intercepted and we had to scramble down the other end of the park- for me that was the turning point.

Yeah got ruled a hip drop at half time, given they have gone back a whole set to award a penalty not sure why it wasn’t being looked at the whole time we had the ball, kicked it down and then they immediately shifted it to where he would have been.
We got beat in IQ, panthers are still 4 time premiers and they would always exploit those moments even if they are short players just like when it was obvious metcalf wasnt 100 percent they sent the play to him
Thought we lost the middle last night and that had a flow on to the quiet game our halves had.
We’ve had a fair bit of the rub of the green this season but had no luck last night with injuries, Todd Smiths officiating or the unbelievable amount of times the Panthers dropped the ball and manaaged to regather it.
Good opportunity for them to review that game and make some adjustments. It wasnt that bad a game they just need to be a bit sharper next week. Players like Capewell and Berry who do those one percenters well will help.

Im convinced the Warriors and Panthers have a thing going on.
Last year we needed a win during origin with our severe injury crisis and we get one against all the odds.
This year the opposite with the Panthers down the ladder and their stars out and we play like we couldn’t care less… and the Panthers win against all odds.

Have a quick look at the mini replay today.
First try was poor defensively from MGT
Second was the DWZ injury - not much we can do about that
Third was poor effort on a kick
Fourth was really metcalf injury
fifth was again more kick defusing
The really disappointing part is 1, 3and 5 are just all poor effort area stuff which there is no excuse for really, the kick defusing has really been poor from the team recently
