There's the one's you've mentioned above but when i think of our dud players its more along the lines of Jono Wright, Dane neilson, Todd Lowrie types.
Jesus wept mate. Jono wasn't a dud. He was the people's hero and had a huge cult following on the forum at the time.
He dragged us through 15/16 to 10th I think in his second year. Very similar to Marcelo. Sadly missed 😂

Are people still keen on Cobbo? Played reserve grade this week stats weren’t great for someone of NRL quality but his value/price will be low atm obviously has things to work on but trust Webby to get the best out of him

I asked the questuon but of all the players named there can be a case made that they were not duds. I think Warriors have their shit together now than in the past ash Taylor is an ibvious one, but the poor bastard was destroyed by injury i would probably go for Dane Neilson

Haha I remember the people's champ, im pleased we've moved on from having to acquire such skilled players🤣. Sam Tomkins was another one the way he was seriouslyhyped before he came, hes a man of steel but in the Nrl he was nothing much more than a banana skin with bad sprigs.

I wonder if Roger will just play year to year, his body is probably pretty good after his stint in union, might have added a few years to his career. I would take a fit Rodger no mater his age. He is 32 tho, can't play forever
I deadset think he is offering more to the team now than he ever has. He is contributing as part of a well-oiled machine rather than the follow me leader type that was, in my mind, breaking team unity through his dogged determination to carry the team on his shoulders. As well as stifling others' ability to take the game on, I thought he was too limited a playmaker for that role.

I'm loving what he is bringing to the table, and I say that as a former critic. I can easily see him as a solid and dependable player for some time to come. His defence has improved heaps since leaving to union too.

Big Lodgey biggest dud for the flow on effects, though the season where Alpha let him steal from our salary cap turned out to be the most successful one in 20 years - go figure.

Have not missed on a signing for ages, Walker was great for us, CNK, Ford, Metcalf, Capewell has turned it around. CHT back from sabbatical, TMM when called upon. Fish was a gimme, RTS was questionable when they tried to turn him into a strike center, but could have a long run as a more dynamic Jason Nightingale type, bit slow, not a traditional winger but finishes the chances and grinds through a lot of work while being a high character guy and mentor.

Gives hope for the Gannon signing.

Think this thread is going to be very boring, even if Metcalf wants to cash his chips and go back to Aus, they can make him play out his contract and the knights kid with no knees or even Jett might be able to step up for 2027.

They want to be Penrith, and penrith dont sign expensive players from other teams, other than using some of Fish's money on Papalii

Dallin is looking creaky, there's no two ways about it, maybe shattering that wrist has limited his gym time or something, but he was pretty impactful for a struggling team last year, and does not look the same.
