In days past that panel wouldve just glossed over that Warriors win. An hour long post show they probably wouldve dedicated 10 minutes to that game with 9 minutes of it being how poor the Sharks were and what they need to do to get better.

Great with SJ there, they have to be more Warriors centric and were getting more in depth analysis and focus.....long may it continue

That's a statement right there. Unbelievable exhibition of power football. These young bucks aided by the experience of the few old heads are showing we have the pathway and development process well under control.

Unfair to single out in a team performance like that but Fish and Capes deserve some extra praise for guiding the ship after the adversity of losing Barney and then Egan late.
Big ups to the coaching staff and game plan designers, God that 10m bomb and lockup is great to watch and is executed perfectly. Sharkies knew it was coming but like the proverbial train wreck, not much you can do.

Exceptional performance, everyone played their part and winnas are grinnas.

In all my years watching this team this has got to be the most satisfying comprehensive win I remember.

I understand that given the 11th hour nature of AFB's compassionate release request at the end of 2023. But surely there had to be better options than BHU who has been around for several years at this pt and clearly hasn't developed the way you would expect. I think we were also chasing Francis Molo at the time. He would have been a much better target and is doing great things at the Phins this year.

I want to believe there was some 4D chess played here. A reverse Matai if you will. We've got them to overcommit to mediocre forwards and stole their emerging hooker talent.

Never understood why the fans should have the team song. And even worse it began to be sung before the win was confirmed.

Webster was asked during the week on Aus radio about the difference between 2023 and this year. Said they lost their head a bit in 2023, that everyone wanted a piece of them (which I take to include the commercialisation of the team song).

We are fans and members of the Warriors club. We're not members of the first grade team and some things deserve to be kept with them.

Agree but us fans didn't put it on the big screen after the game, that's on the club. Looks like we've all got our own song now, players and fans. Whatever they're doing is working

Good to see our guys getting some recognition. Also it probably isn't the easiest to get our guys on at short notice. It would depend on the travel schedule. This week going into the bye means letting him stay back in Sydney isn't an issue as they may be giving the guys a few extra days off.

Note to AFB: if you are going to publicly challenge JFH to a physical duel, you better understand that he's not coming alone. Our entire pack is going to come hunting for you as a unit.

Noticed several times during the game Erin getting right into AFB's face and mouthing expletives into his ear whenever there was a negative sharks play. On each occasion, AFB just sat there and took it and let Erin get away with it. JFH may have taken the high road and decided to ignore his challenge publicly, but other members of our pack clearly took the challenge personally and ganged up on him all night. We clearly got inside AFB's head and rocked him mentally. Nullifying their pack leader, the rest of the sharks pack followed meekly into submission. Why on earth we tried to bring some of these sharks forwards over to us like BHU I will never know.

Just watched the game, unbelievable win, Webby nailed the interchange, felt like we constantly had fresh players hitting the ball up in that second half, the kids were phenomenal.

My view is the difference with this Warriors team is to a man they are commited. Previous teams were involved.

I must point to this game being a prime example of how limited stats are. Nothing crazy from our players numbers wise yet we played incredibly well and we are all stoked with that performance

Fist game this season that I felt at ease watching - I had confidence in our defence throughout even when the scores were tight in the first half.

So good to see that strong defence and Webster's plan coming together so well, allowing the points to finally flow in the second half.

A great complete performance by the squad.
