Leka was a big part of that loss. And even when he wasn't losing the ball he was getting outmuscled in the collisions. Looked like a teenager against men. Hopefully he learns from this. Probably a good game for him to have a nightmare as I am not convinced we would have won even without his mistakes. There was no way we were scoring a try in the second half. Partly due to wet conditions. And partly because it looked like they knew our play book and had studied video on us. They seemed to shift to our shapes even before we got the shapes set ourselves. They weren't much better than us at getting across the stripe either. Hard night in the conditions for point scoring with the dew.

Surely Raiders were off side a lot tonight. Their line speed looked suspicious.
Leka was a boy against men. But not one of our actual men stood up and had his back like I hear in all their Instagram videos. Tapine shoulder charge deserved a good fucking belting from Marata.

Probably the worst team to play missing JFH & Barnett.

Hopefully a big lesson for Leka.

RTS thought was strong. DWZ could leave today and I think we have him covered.

Ali must start going looking for work. His lack of involvement is frankly unacceptable at this level.
100% on Ali.

I hope tonight was because he's coming back from an injury. For such a big body, he should be taking notes from Canberra centers about what's expected.

Sheesh, Metcalf is Safe from criticism on here. But Leka gets it both barrels and is the main reason we lost? A 19 year old? Lol. Come on now.
I disagree personally with the card that 18 and 19 year old professionals are exempt after losses due to their age.
That said I think the big picture is important and that is this was not a must win match. And probably doesn't matter that much that we lost and hence his mistakes did not cost us anything irretrievable.

proud of that team effort tonight, especially with our 2 big forwards out it shows that we can compete okay with the top teams.
One tough game though Canberra didn't give up they brought niggle we were unlucky on a few calls and a few errors there.
I Haven't read any post match yet but I'm sure some players will be copping the blame,
I thought Charnze had a brilliant game even with his bin, Clarke, Ford and te Maire all played well.
If you're gonna lose this is how you do it.💪

can you let the CNK thing go? Webby isn't going to change the FB. This game was lost by dumb individual moments that are eminently fixable. No need for wholesale changes.
I agree this is our style for the season and players aren’t changing.

But I also feel our style is limited and we are one dimensional without an attack.

How far can we go? We will compete in every game but the whole second half when we were getting fatigued, it never felt like we were going to score.

CNK is limited but suits our style. Our halves are defensive rocks but limited in attack. If we’re not going to change them, our season hinges on those halves developing fast.

Bit harsh on Leka. A young man who has a lot to learn but he will be a star 🌟
Our attack panicked tonight and lacking patience. Trying to score off every play.
Difficult conditions and without the settling effect of Fish and Barnett
Looking at the comp we were due for a loss with all the other upsets and good to get it out of the way.
Certainly improvement on Vegas

Probably can work on some set plays for desperate times
Yeah as far as line attack goes (particulary later in that 2nd half) wouldnt hurt Luke to have plan B up his sleeve when his show n go (which tbf has worked for him mostly this season) is shut down.

Plan B being playing a bit of chess getting that defensive line moving with some off the ball movement. Edges couldve targetted a few more inside shoulders turning defences in and creating a bit more space. That said conditions werent the best for it.

Hats off to the Raiders D
