Common sense prevails. Mitch Barnett to Lock. And the guy who’s played almost his entire career off the bench is on the bench.
Simply because he’s not an 80 minute player as such there’s absolutely nothing he can do that he can’t oof the bench.
Looking forward to his injection though

Webby was saying they wanted 4 forwards on the bench for game 1, the team are fresh so it sounds like they're banking on no injury or issues for Wayde.
Good plan for Rd 1 imo. Egan won't be able to play 80 the whole season so having a beast like Leka on the bench to hopefully come on cause some chaos for 20 odd minutes against a tiring pack could come up trumps. Or Bidens. What ever were going with these days

Looking like Ricky has seen our team and smelled the Coffee....the Warriors are going to try to run over the top of the Raiders through the middle third (Especially the use of Leka in the middle and the inclusion of Sifakula).
Ergo Sticky names Papa in his back row to up the size factor of the Raiders.
Well played Webster, already messing with Stickies head, now we need the players to go out and do the damage.
I believe that part of naming Leka and Sifakula on the bench is to do with the narrow field, i.e. the plan is to embrace the tight space and run over the top of the Raiders through the middle because the war for the middle is the only option on the menu.
