Webby was saying they wanted 4 forwards on the bench for game 1, the team are fresh so it sounds like they're banking on no injury or issues for Wayde.

Good plan for Rd 1 imo. Egan won't be able to play 80 the whole season so having a beast like Leka on the bench to hopefully come on cause some chaos for 20 odd minutes against a tiring pack could come up trumps. Or Bidens. What ever were going with these days

Looking like Ricky has seen our team and smelled the Coffee....the Warriors are going to try to run over the top of the Raiders through the middle third (Especially the use of Leka in the middle and the inclusion of Sifakula).

Ergo Sticky names Papa in his back row to up the size factor of the Raiders.

Hopefully this is where the narrower field might play in our favor.

Lot easier for our insides to cover if the Raiders are wanting to play the expansive game to get to their speedy edges.

In fact if speed isn't our main asset, I'd propose we narrow Mt Smart to the absolute allowable minimum....got to play to your strengths.

I believe that part of naming Leka and Sifakula on the bench is to do with the narrow field, i.e. the plan is to embrace the tight space and run over the top of the Raiders through the middle because the war for the middle is the only option on the menu.
