Sexism was a big reason she lost and a big part probably of why Harris lost. America is not ready for a Woman president obviously. Bit suss that Biden won in 2020 and he was a man.
Don’t think it’s as much of an issue as some make it if the candidate is right- Hillary was an awful candidate with plenty of skeletons in her closet hoping to ride Bills popularity.
History shows with the likes of Thatcher, Ghandi, Merkel that powerful countries can handle it if they have the right candidate

Those are other countries. We are talking about the US here.
I lived in North America it is more sexist than New Zealand is. We are probably the least sexist country in the world. We have three former lady prime ministers. USA has had no lady presidents ever.

Anyway I realise what I say it is an oversimplification. There are about 50 reasons why both Clinton and Harris lost.

What the fuck is happening in the victory speech. It is fucked. All over the fucking place.

I think a female candidate would have to be quite exceptional to become President. I think in the US being female and African American is a step to much for voters currently. Just seems there is a large portion of the population who are sexiest and racist. Barrack Obama broke the shackles on the African American front. A female will be president one day but I just have a feeling she will need to be white because it just to much of a change for people to have a black woman president currently

Thank you for not leaving me hanging on that point by myself. She lost the Latino vote despite the Trump team calling Puerto Rico an island of garbage. She lost partly to black men not voting for her. Perhaps a man would have done better with both those groups.

Having lived in North America many Women are sexist and would only vote for a Male President.

I also think there are about 50 reasons Harris Lost
Amongst them is that Biden fucked around with that war with Serbia and Russia that many people didn't give two fucks about,
