Social Wrighty presents Forum Sheep game for 2024 - Round Six Underway

Yeah im sort of after specific positions now and while i would have liked the players i bid on i wasnt too fussed as there's still a lot of quality available in those positions.......im guessing spending a mill on a winger wouldnt sit comfortably with u?
Also thought you may have pivoted to Luke Priddis and picked him up really cheap

Thank you for the clarification. I did a Wrighty and waited a while before I posted.
I was fuming for 2 hrs.
There were bids I didn't bid on because I had a whole arsenal of people to bid on and I could pass on the likes of Sailor, Lockyer). I just assumed that people were too busy to research.
I read the original post and I went from there.
My ceiling for Lockyer was higher than 2.5 (I will PM Wrighty my list).

I think the biggest part was I did many hours of research because it was easy to find information (unlike the previous one where I got Sika Manu).
I bid on Maloney and no one said anything for hours.
Then when I bid on my arsenal, I got told the criteria had changed.

I understand mistakes are going to be part of this game, but as a participant, my only job is to read the post for the round. I don't have an obligation (as a participant) to read every subsequent posts.

I think game is going to be more tight from here on out which is good. I still think Google sheets/forms would have made everyone's life way easier.

I feel for u there bro.
I knew I was time poor today so jumped straight into the research too- had just got to the 2000s when the protests started then by the time there was a resolution I had the misses moaning we had to get going.
Probably could’ve had a look during the day but the move to an open auction was the final nail in the coffin.
As it turned out I was able to tune before close but was a bit lost so opted out.
Looks like some good deals were had in the end too….
Oh well tomorrow’s a new day and new criteria- hopefully closed auction this time…. 🤞

I read the og post and didn't see any of the posts talking about changing criteria. I went from 94 all the way to 2023.

I was going to get Hancock!!!! My favourite player (along with renouf) before the Warriors came in 95.

I understand there is another day.

Dude i was Bronco's before Warriors and Hancock and the Pearl were my fave's as well!

Hancock was like a human pinball and i loved how he would never die in a tackle. I know everyone hated him thrashing and kicking out but i loved it.

As for the Pearl not often you could say "what a beautiful runner of the football" but he really was. Beautifully balanced and a great fend. Just as well he hasnt come up in this game yet otherwise id blow my budget on him ;)

I still remember in school every one was Dragons and I was the only Broncos supporter, then all the kids the next week were like, oh yeah we like Broncos (FARK OFF LOL).

Still remember to this day Langer singing badly "st george can't play, st george can't play"

I wanted it to be easy to work out who was available and good for everyone with multiple picks in high demand. I was kind of looking forward to seeing who bid on which players and how much for each of them with the original criteria. Whether $2m would have been enough for the players like Daley, Meninga, Stuart, Clyde, Slater, Lockyer, Renouf, Cleary, SBW etc then add in the secondary players and probably would have got a lot of black sheep picks also. It was definitely too many to choose from in hindsight but certainly would have been a highly anticipated reveal by wrighty at the end of the day
