Turning point moment in the game

B Clyde $1,439,000

Mr B can use his last cent to take him but uses up all his cash and is out of the game. No chance for black sheep or to pick up cheap players.

I will not out bid him. Balls in your court Mr B 😉
Am I being generous or taking Mr B out?

He could win the game with Clyde… or strengthen his whole squad with a couple of other decent players.

Fascinating decision coming up!

***Wrighty's report on his trip to the mall - optional reading***

My light blew out today in my room. And the lightbulb shattered leaving the coil of the bulb in the light bulb fixture meaning I will need an electrician to come out. In the mean time I needed a lamp from the mall to get me through the next week or so until we can get an electrician in (might be difficult at this time of year).
I headed to the mall and just before I got there a black Trans Am that was lowered got in front of me and it also wanted to go into the mall underground parking. It turned out the TransAm was lowered and was really taking its time to go over the pavement entrance to the mall. My car is also lowered, a lowered BMW that used to belong to a boy racer in Japan, but not as lowered as the Trans Am so i was able to follow easily over the pavement entrance but a little annoyed that I had to wait 7 seconds for the Trans am to inch its way first.

We got into the mall undercover parking and learned the Trans Am was owned by a lady with black track pants and tank top. To speed up the story where ever I went in the mall she was there, or ahead of me or completely under my feet the whole time as she also wanted to go to Farmers first then to Warehouse. I got really pissed off how I had to keep adjusting my walking path to avoid her. And of course because Farmers and the Warehouse want to maximise profits most of the floor is covered with products and the walking space is one abreast which made her get in my way more.

Farmers did not have any lamps. Neither did Bath and Beyond so I went to Warehouse. Where yes there she was getting in my way again. I found the lamps. After much consideration I decided I didn't trust lamps from the Warehouse so I decided my time was worth more than the effort of coming back and forth so I got two different lamps in case one didn't work. One was $25 and the other $12. So at those sort of costs you can justify getting two lamps as well. Had Farmers had one it would have been $40 anyway.

As I approached the checkout girl she was being asked a question by a surprisingly verbally adroit and well spoken young man given he was covered in tattoos and wearing a basketball shirt. "Where can I find product X". "I don't know I am sorry - I am just new".
Then she served me efficiently and even found my lightbulbs I was buying were broken so i went back and got another pack and yes had to side step Trans Am woman again as I rushed to avoid holding the line up. Then she finished serving me and I said "I am pleased you sell lamps as no one else does in the mall". And she said "I don't know sorry - I am just new" and I realised she was saying that line to all the customers.

then I left the mall and somehow the Trans Am lady left exactly 30 seconds before I dd and I watched her drive out.

I decided to stop off at the grocery story on the way home. I got some items. Somewhere between two bags and three bags full I figured. The checkout girl asked me how many bags so i said three. She ended up only needing two but had rung all three for $0.45 each into the till. And she wasn't looking like she was going to give me the third bag even though I had paid for it. I thought about asking for a refund of $0.45 and decided it would be cheap of me so I left the grocery store unsure of how I felt about it. Ripped off or not ripped off.

I got home half an hour ago and set up the lamps. And Wow would you believe it the $25 lamp was cheap and nasty and only accepts specialist light bulbs that I will need to go out and get another day. Luckily though I had had the foresight to buy two lamps as the cheaper lamp for $12 took regular light bulbs and it is up and running and I will have light in my room tonight.

Moral of the story go with your decision making systems. If you have a hunch about getting two lamps - then get two lamps !!!!

Oh no. I was waiting to hear that you had put some chat on the Trans Am lady and had brought her home for coffee.
