I am getting some late mail that the Tauranga Franchise is considering a merger with Balmain given that Balmain and Western Suburbs are on the rocks.
I approached the CEO Wixards for comment and he said he is ruling nothing out at this point in his efforts to win a premiership in the 2024 forum sheep contest.

The $400,000 Round Master bonus is non refundable - you can not get a credit if that makes sense. If you spend $250K acquiring one player it will cost you $0 but you don't get a further $150K given to you for a rainy day.

Much Kudos to @Defence for realising this yesterday as I just audited his War chest and he correctly did not give himself the roundmaster bonus even though he was roundmaster yesterday.
