Well played everyone. Everyone made a bid so I don't need to give our any infractions.

I have made a sister thread for you to populate - you will see it in the Social forum. It is a tracking thread. Please populate it with your results. Congrats to all those who won at least one player.

If it was a tied bid nobody got that person. Below are the results - I may have made a mistake, If you think I did then no Dramas just point it out to me and I will investigate. Please bear in mind some of your bids were not eligible as the thread was moving quickly and your bid was not incremental.

I wasn’t sure how this round would play out so was just rolling with the punches.
Judging from previous games people either go way too low or way too high in the first round and I feel that’s the way it went- maybe not having any real blue chip players meant people kept their powder dry but I thought there were some real bargains had in the end.
I’ve filled 9 spots but still have 9M in the kitty so feel like I’m in a good spot but time will tell….

I think the only possibility that is sensible is to only have black sheep for the silent auction. If we tried my idea I floated it is going to turn into a frantic last thirty minutes each day with people sneaking in black sheep before the buzzer and others not sure if they should outbid by $1K to stop the sheep all with no time left.

So from now on Black Sheep only for the silent rounds. No more tieing bids for the open auctions. I will update the rules.

Eligibility criteria:
This relates to the NRL competition including earlier versions, i.e. NSWRL, Winfield Cup, Optus Cup, etc.

Bid for players that played in & lost an NRL grand final within their first 2 seasons (debut season or the following season), with that player then going on to play for at least 2 NRL clubs.
