Gameday Witzer Pre-Season challenge Dolphins vs Warriors

Looked a bit better than last week.

I liked the hard running and offloads in the first half. The passing is still a bit off.

It will be interesting to see if Clark's passing lasts the season.

Because its a trial...
So my question still stands? Ffs lol. He didn't have to load the fucking team with all young guys at the end. He could of spread their time on field at different times during the whole game. After all, Pre season or not. The aim of the game is to win is it not?

I was fairly pleased with that performance .
I don’t take too much into account when the young guys came on .
One thing is clear , don’t put $$ on the nsw cup team to win the comp this year.
Defensive issues out wide for us .
I hope CHT is okay for round 1 as Hanson didn’t really impress .

It was funny at the start with the Dolphins player getting put on his backside.

When Laban did it I started laughing. My young fella asked why. "Well that is the third time now".

He started paying attention hoping it would happen again.

Hopefully we don't see the unforced errors come round 1.

Things like DWZ over running the pass and dropping the ball inside our 20.

Or Boyd dropping the ball early in the count after a set restart. If you get a set restart you should be playing out the extra set to load up the opposition.

I wouldn't say that is the aim at all. Not sure why this continually has to be said but it's just a trial, it means nothing. Obviously there will be goals for each player but the main thing would be not getting injured, having a hit out against different opposition from the team and getting match fitness.

Some super soft first contact in periods throughout the game, especially on the backs. Too many unforced errors and soft D to get excited about much. Some of the passing in the forwards was decent. Gannon looked a lot better ball in hand, he's a 13 and offers good variety to Clark.

Mellars looks not quite there, which is fine as a young 4th in line winger. Leka running out with the kids is confusing, do they see him as a lower minute impact player or something? He hardly touched the ball. But neither did the team in the last 15 minutes really.

Thought it was a great preseason game ... got a few glimpses from the 1st graders about what they intend to do... There were a few shinning lights ... Hansen, I felt did well, so did Jack Thomson.. soon as the 1st graders went off they struggled... wonder why? Ford still needs to sort out his costly stupidity... Tanner Stowers took on the alpha prop and did well.. overall I think were in a good spot...
