Surprisingly Boyd has played twice as many nrl games.

It is a bit scary when you look at Metcalf and his lack of games, it certainly underscores what a gamble we took in investing in him on the big coin.

Wonder what the club would have done if Boyd was playing like this last year when they were organizing an offer to Metcalf....we will never know.

I still feel CNK and DWZ are potential weak links as the season goes on but will give them the benefit of the doubt as they are playing well.

Absolutely he’s behind Leka Capewell Laban and Marata with Barney able to drop back if need be. Haven’t seen anything from Gannon to suggest he nothing but filler at best.

Even if we have a world beating season, their attitude towards us won't change. We just have to accept that and block out the noise. Even when we were minor premiers in 2002, we were rank outsiders in the prelim final against Cronulla who were ranked lower than us throughout the whole year.

Sure, but we're 30+ seasons of reinforcing it. Even our spot as minor premiers had an asterisk. As much as we're ignored, or treated like lepers by Brandy, we have earned it. It is nice to hear us referred to as a 'good team,' by all and sundry. I think that is a fair first step.

So they consign that player to the 'unknown' basket. We've seen the line he's capable of. That run where he stepped inside to feed someone that led to a try. I think he's capable of running the edge but also setting up play.

Personally seeing Lukey and Tanah in the halves gives me a 2023 hard on. Tigers are going to want to ambush us. Benji spoilt our party a few times as a player. But they're not prepared to beat us right now. They're on the up, but key cattle missing. Plus we're at the mighty fortress. No way they get out of this one with less than a 40 point rubbing. Could be 50 or 60. Unless they play out of their skins and May has a wow if a game.

Yeah not saying he can’t but there’s so much traffic in front of him I think he’s going to have to bide his time in Cup or when there are multiple injuries like last week.
