I could see CNK defending at 6, with Taine there on offense.

I would have thought Taine would be picked at 6 as he's been playing some halves in NSW cup

Always wears #1 but does the playmaking & kicking. Not sure if he's been dropping back to do kick returns as well? I'd be happy for CNK to eat the metres from the back & Taine to get 50+ touches up in the line.
How Webster thinks he can defend in the front line will probably determine their exact roles

SJ is also out for 3 weeks and was only a minor pec injury which is good news. Will be back after the bye.

Probably 6 weeks strain then, refer to Bunty and Jazz’s miraculous early returns

Laban/ Maiu liven up the forwards.
Ale must hold his spot after a possible defining game last week.
Jazz and Walker no brainers.
If Harris is carrying any kind of injury I would rest him and then you get Laban and Maiu.
I am excited.
I thought Pompey had Manu covered both times Kosi came in on Sunday.

He seems convinced that TMM will remain left side. If my memory serves me correct then TMM played right side in Cup to begin the season, against the Panthers in the playoffs last year & tended to hang out there at NQ/Penrith. Guess it would be CNK's preferred side too, although I think it was left Centre he lined up at for Kiwis(?)

If the forwards get parity and the bench rolls on and continues the momentum, the unknown/unpredictability of the live wire backs make us super dangerous.

I reckon Taine will be our future #1.

CNK ain’t getting younger. Neither is RTS.

Keen to see how he goes moving forward. This could legit be a turning point in our season.

I quite like the look of that team but we’re F’ked in the kicking department though

I hope Ali takes this opportunity with both hands. He is bigger than either of the Panthers centres and should use that to his advantage. Taine and CNK will surely interchange on attack and D. Would be nice to see Ale start at 13 and Tohu come on after 20 minutes. Will be better for his body. Understand why Zyon Maiu’u is not in as you can only have so much inexperience on the field. Kind of pumped about the team except for TMM at 7.

Yep, even as a last tackle option … TT has a boot , whilst CNK doesn’t.

BTW … Zyon Maiu’u should be in the 17 !
