We started the season very well, but injuries have taken their toll big time.
A big change to our spine losing charnze and Metcalf is huge, this mid point in the season it looks like some other teams have caught up and surpassed us.
The way the Tigers clicked last round i could see them exploiting us if we are to get the win we will need better discipline and D.

Really interested to see what this team does with a half like Boyd. I’m highly optimistic. I think with our injuries a game managing halfback with a good kicking game could be exactly what we need. I also think we’ll see the benefit of Andrew Websters coaching and his ability to get players to new levels. I’m not saying Boyd turns into Cooper Cronk but maybe an off brand Cronk. Who wouldn’t want that.

13+ Wahs. Tigers are mud. Terrel May might be the most overrated player going round atm. Solid platform from the forwards and Tanah kicks the Tigers to the shadow realm. Tuapiki with a double off support play from our youngsters and Boyd 6/6.

We will destroy the tigers today. I have a feeling that it will be a break out performance. A full month has passed since we won, and we haven’t won at mount smart since 19th April.

Read that again. We have not won at home at Go Media since 19th April when we beat Brisbane with the Metcalf penalty at the death. Almost 3 months. That’s insane.

We haven’t sung the team song at home for a long, long time.

After being beaten up the last two weeks through poor performances (let’s be honest) we need to win this badly for our confidence and to keep a gap between us and the chasing pack.

I see a break out performance for Boyd at half - he’s bloody ready and I think he will smash it today. I also see a breakout game for our forwards who have been off the last few weeks. In particular, JFH and Marata will come out determined.

The Tigers have their own turmoil going on and will be determined to win. We beat then and we effectively kill them off for 2025.

I expect to see this team reassert dominance and take back what is ours at home.

Time we sung the song again at home.

Yeah that is pretty crazy.

Whats more insane is probably the draw. We've only had 2 home games in that time, meanwhile Bronco's have had 6!

A few saying Fish needs to step it up, but i dont think so. Fish will do what he does, there's not much difference between his best and worst (he very rarely puts in a poor effort tbh), its the supporting cast that needs to lift.....Ford and Niukore particulary who were very poor last match.....if their on song and we hunt as a pack then im confident we'll get the job done at home.

Hoping to see Boyd test Turuva out positionally at fullback today.....sense there's an oppertunity there and Boyd has the kicking game to exploit it......good luck to the Webster clone (dude could be his son....spitting image)

The bye weekends are usually a nice break. Been down to the Bay of Plenty and back a few times, plus travelling around the Bay for work and some family funerals. Nice not having to schedule my travels around the games.

After a two week break it's nice to have a game to look forward to. Our byes are all done and we now have the run home.

Two weeks to get some rest and get some training in. Plenty of motivation to turn around the last two losses. Let's hope we are back on the winning side again.

Really need a win, but not sure what to think as this team seems to still have a Piña colada in one hand after every single bye under Webby.

It's extremely frustrating, need to sort that out it's not good enough given how consistent it's been.
