CNK is solid at the back when fully fit and uninjured but FFS TT just offers more.
I like Dallin efforts but send him to NSW Cup to regain some confidence and work on his defensive choices.
Capes seems like he needs a rest.
Marata is an almost man and like Mr Frank White says, lacks the defensive lateral movement.
I think we should start with TMM and Boyd in the halves. Works in Cup.

If ever Bunty and/or Ale are going to get a call up, surely it’s now.
That’s a good side, would have Fatialofa over Eddie tho. Fight fire with fire I say

I don’t know about moving Marata to prop, last time he was there he had one run the entire half, he can smash the halfbacks at second row but gets bent in the middle
He needs to sort his shit
I think if we win 2 more we make the 8 right? You are right though, this could get messy. If we missed the 8 from here! What a massive capitulation.
I think it's 50/50 we make the eight after the last 3x games.. we just look so weak ..and after last week ,,smart team TOP4 coming home would have pulled another gear ,,we put it in reverse after 15mins

There’s definitely some intrigue around the outside backs and how Webster’s handling the rotations. Taine at fullback and CNK in the centres could bring a lot of balance to that backline, for sure. Taine’s flair at fullback injects unpredictability into the attack, while CNK’s consistent defence and toughness would anchor the centre position nicely. It does feel like that combo could be potent if it were to gel.

As for Capewell in the centre, it's an interesting one. While Capewell brings his Origin pedigree, I get the sense that he's a bit of a square peg in a round hole at times in that role. CNK definitely has the toughness and consistency to handle it better, and if it’s about cover and reliability, CNK might be the more natural fit. It could be a bit of loyalty from Webster, giving Capewell those minutes because of his experience and big-game impact, but It could come at the expense of a better overall balance.

He’s like a deer headlights at times and he’s here as depth, but we’ve got an injury to our first choice halfback. Bulldogs have identified Sexton isn’t the answer, to the point of them pulling the pin mid season on the top of the table and Boyd is no different. The guy who just coached the team that beat us this weekend is the guy who let him go and dropped him the year before and went his side on attack nearly every time. I wish him all the luck in world because he plays for us, I just there’s a better option on our roster
And game 1 next year when when don't have TMM what are we going to do? Say sorry we didn't believe in you Boyd, but help us out?

People have this misconception that they have been playing as the halves combination all season in NSW Cup. They have played a total of 5 games together in NSW Cup.

Kosi works in Cup too.
Good trainspotting.
I know the stats, not one of the misconcepted myself.
Kosi is decent in Cup without banging the door down.
IMO if Webby doesn’t get a bit more adventurous we might/hopefully get 2 more wins in relatively low scoring games and scrape into the 8.
Anything, however unlikely can happen thereafter.

Capewell had a couple of excellent games at centre defensively, however recently he's been getting skinned and missing a lot of important tackles. May as well have a real centre out there.

Why not just sign an outside half then? The club doesnt want TMM so why would they re-sign him?
They’ve got Linnane next year so that’s one halve coming into the top 30 but another off contract at the end of 2025 is Luke Hanson so I would imagine it’s not a certainty that all players off contract at the end of year will be gone and Metcalf’s injury could change the picture? Time will tell either way, but hopefully we can get back to winning whether that be with Boyd or whoever

didnt look threatening in those 200m

looked injured and much slower

TT in his 150m always looked dangerous with half breaks
Am I missing something, have you fullahs got MRI scanners in your eyeballs....players have quieter games, players have form dips, players get older but this place comes up with ways to blame Webster for their theories based on watching a TV Screen.
