General Warriors Preseason 2026

whos paying for all of this? How cashed up is the club, alot it seems!
The city have the infrastructure already. They will have a modest community projects budget, probably are paying the modest wages of people like Tookey.

Given that the City of Logan asked the Warriors to come in, they will be paying for the scheme.

The Warriors will be providing their staffs time free of charge most likely, while Logan would as I say pay the people that are based in that community.

Obviously I dunno the deal that they struck but since the Warriors have a whole country to seed from they won't be paying for an Australian regional councils problems.

When Frank Oliver ex AB, coached the Hurricanes in Super rugby he wanted them to buy a farm so players could get fit running the hills herding sheep and hay making, fencing. Also a tangjble asset. You hear stories of farmers training with a sheep under each arm (also called rustling)
fun fact, a law here in kiwiland, you can still be hanged if convicted of rustling, that's why there's been no one charged with rustling.

This is the thinking behind us having a Home Game in Brisbane at Magic Round time.
Although I'd imagine the Warriors Bar might start to be making an impact, too. Anyone heard any financial results for it so far?
Maybe also the decision to go to Napier for a pre-season match. More merch/ticket sales from the novelty factor (only second Napier game ever?)
