General Warriors NSW Cup 2026

Bishop Neal is bringing coming along well! Considering he’s only played a couple of games in Cup! Jett putting his up for a first grade opportunity if it comes around! It was a solid win and performance from us!
Really bodes well for Cleary if he can form a good combination with Neal as Neal is destined for first grade. The more Cleary goes along, I’m wondering if the club sees his ceiling rather high too?

No it’s not harsh at all. He struggles big time. He’s tall but skinny, and will fill out. Everyone saying he’s has the Coates build but Coates has 8-10kg on him. With a big off season next year, he might be in a better position. I still think he’s 12-18 months away. Great finisher and works hard, but still has work.

Do we have cover if one or both AKP/WW goes down? Anderson wing and Ali or Pompey depth? Would be handy if Berry can make it and add to centre stock, not sure about wing depth though if DWZ is gone too.

It's kind of the one guy makes others look better. Bishop attracts defenders and creates clean space for Cleary. Cleary puts the ball where Bishop needs it and breaks the line. Who benefits who the most?

I think Jett plays first grade with us at some point. Maybe next year🤔 probably not this year. Who knows🤷 but if he doesn’t he will end up going back to Australia

If Boyd goes down while Metcalf and TMM are injured and Hanson gets injured then Jett might get a next man up this year. But really I'd save him for rubbish minutes if we are confirmed for the finals and rest a bunch of blokes

First time I've seen a lot of those players in action. Unbelievable the talent there and how young they are also.

That Paige Wilson guy was a good find

This dude haa a bit of that Jackson Ford vibe...hasnt got that elite skill set but seems to be an honest toiler with a big body.

Tbh, seems like a Webby signing, and someone who Webby will be able to squeeze every little bit of effort out of. I could see him making a fg debut if we had 1 or 2 injuries (or dare i say it Origin duty) over the next 12 weeks or so.

TSS injured for what, 6 weeks? If we lose Barny and Capes to Origin, and then had another injury in the forwards we could be a little light

Neal looks like he could indeed be a very good backrower in FG, with a skillset and size we don't often produce (for some reason).

He actually looks a bit leaner now than some of his earlier videos, where he looked more like a prop than backrower. Hopefully that continues, otherwise a move to the middle may be on the cards. Either way I'd expect a FG debut next year, or later this year if the season turned to absolute shite.

Wonder who the odd man out in this halves logjam is..

I think they're gonna start using Hanson more on the first grade extended bench as halves cover without actually playing him. Gives Thompson, Cleary etc more opportunities.

Do we see Hanson being re-signed?

Could they be blooding Hanson at five eighty to get him comfortable to add Cleary at some point? Perhaps they were always who the club had in mind as their halves combination?
